well put ya name on a list either list it doesn't matter just so long as a list gets filled. Monday seems the best bet for the usual crowd back to the old ways an all. Sunday seems the better bet for anyone that has to come from further afield. If the Sunday list gets no names on it I will see about organising a Bournemouth massif meeting to get my locals together as I can't go a month without me soop fix lol..

I can do sunday anytime but realistically I can't get to the m23 from bournemouth much before 9 pm which kind of negates the point as you lot will all be gone by then.

Ah see now i have only ever been to these meetings since they have been in the day time at weekends. I have to say the meet at fleet services was very good as there were so many cars there. I am assuming that the SEM meet was really just a bunch of freinds getting together in their local area on a weekday evening and not the vastly expanded people coming from a very long way off affair that fleet was. If the clocks have gone fwds then there will of course be more light so bring on any day ya like and we shall get the meeting going.

Problem is the light hasn't drawn out enough yet to hold them after work any day. Its not exactly brilliant looking at cars in the dark lol. M23 sounds cool even though its quite a long way for me as its only fair to the guys that come this way when we have them here.

Mandy said she would bring her pink mobile down and i am surprised she hasn't popped into this thread. The avon causeway pub is an ideal meeting place for people that want to go to BB. Its just off the dual carriageway on the correct turn off for matchams and has a nice sized car park. They serve beverages and i beleive food so a pre BB meet might be an idea for the local crowd. Whatever is the case I am going to go I am going to take the mrs My mate might come along in his volvo 850 type R which is incidently faster than my soop (bastard)!! PM me for more details.

You are correct on the facelift and VVTi front but do bear in mind that the VVTi engine may give you more bhp as stock but is a lot more expensive to further tune than its younger bro!!! If you want the paddle shift auto then go for the facelift if not look long and hard for a really low miler pre-facelift for good money ie 8kish they are available and put the bits on it you want. Facelift alloys, front bumpers and other bits that make it different are readily available due to the mod peeps. Be very very fussy as there are now a lot of cars about! Happy hunting boyo lol.

Mines also a 93 model auto. In the wet you use the manual option button and restrict it to certain gears as you would with a manual. As far as stuff going wrong I have only had the window switch go wrong on mine. I have had to replace rear shocks, but thats apparently on a schedule anyway due to the pressure from the back wing. I've had mine for nearly 3 years now and its a beaut! The majority of jap cars have circa 50k miles on them even at the age of my car!!! The other thing to bear in mind is that the price of supra's seem to be dropping quite sharply at the moment and you can pick one up for a lot less than you might think. In regards to the reliabilty of turbo's and stuff I defy you to keep the car for years with this gang and not start modifying it!!! I was perfectly happy with mine until I met this lot, now I have a custom leather interior, De-cat pipes and indiglo dials on order, and a supercharger fit next on the list. After that a spot of NOS but I think you get the idea lol.. I don't drive on many A or B roads so I can't comment on general driveability much but on major dual carriageways etc it is a dream to drive. Best bet is to drive one and see what you think.

A supercharger will give you permanent power especially in the low down area that the N/A is lacking in power. It will also be a little different. Turbo cars are ten a penny but a supercharged supra now that would be different- a bit like a pink supra lol!! Well the question is the price. A progressive nitrous kit will set you back about a grand I reckon fitted for a good one. Then you have to have a reliable gas refill site. The supercharger will cost you in the region of 5 grand fitted. SO which one which one what a dilemna. Balls get both lol. With a supercharger you can still go for broke and turbo it afterwards lol.

Well I took a leaf out of Ash's book and went the totally wrong way home. Ended up going the wrong way down the A4 and having to come back down the M4 ending up on the cack bit of the M25. Cracking to meet the gang again. See ya all soon and will post the pics I took as soon as poss.

Well if there are only gonna be 6 other people there and most are gonna be at winnal i will meet at winnal and go and see my mates in fleet afterwards rather than go up to chieveley. What's happened to the other 30 we had at fleet? I have to say that despite all supragals and mawby's hard work the turn-out is looking a bit dire. See how things shape up but if more people don't commit and confirm this could be the first SEM non-happening event!!

I bet thats cheap as chips an easy to fit lol. I only ha ha he says only! want 320-350 horses so a supercharger should give me that but its just not available as an option cos of all you turbo-nutters out there. However if anyone has a 5 litre jobby they want to chuck in my car for me please do let me know lol.
