LOL at 5 m8. I did post my phone number on that post so that if anyone missed us at Fleet you could find out where we went to. It was a pub just off the Hook junction on the M3 in a village called North Warnborough (??? U what who's ever heard of there????lol) Basically in the opposite direction from Hook (just ask Oxy and crew they had a little look over there). Hope everyone was happy enough with the choice of pub, I know the parkin was initially a bit mare-ish but I did my best to get people into bluebeckers across the road with my burly parking attendant lol. They incidentally are more than happy to host us again and next time they said they would block off the car park for our arrival. Fantastic showout with unscheduled motors filling the gaps created by unfortunates that couldn't make it today. Thanks to Millhouse for finalising the leathering of my car (you went to a lot of trouble today fella cheers). See Y'all in a month sportin me new leather.

Ditto that ditto. I have used Triton for servicings but I use Cobbs brothers garage in Poole around the back of halfords for all my MOT needs.
-
If the weather is OK then I cant see us getting moved on quickly. My mobile number is 07740 647136 if we aren't at the services still when you arrive then give me a bell and I will either come and get you or give you directions to where we are at. If peeps agree and we go down the road to the Hook turn off (next junction) we will be at a pub not far from the junction.
-
Seriously though to save us the trouble after we have a crap can you come and wipe our asses for us supragal roflpmsl. Maybe's we ought to put it in our signatures "see first page meet details" ????

What as far as Winchester??? NOOOOO!! Its thirty minutes from Winchester to Fleet. Off the A34 at the M4 then off the M4 at Reading Junction 11, down the A33 towards Basingstoke. Where the dual carriageway runs out take the first left at the first roundabout and head for Hook, the next rounabout you go right at (the other turn off is for some park thing), then straight over the next roundabout. Follow that road to Hook, be carefull on that road cos there are two 90 degree nasty bends on it near Hook. When at Hook you will see the signs for M3. You will have to go past the services and come back down from the next junction but then again anyone coming from the south will have to do that anyway. Hope that is some use to you Tlicense. I use that way to get to Brize Norton from Odiham on a regular basis so I know its a good route. The roadworks at A34-M4 roundabout on a Sunday shouldn't hit you that badly 15-20 minutes max.
-
A34-M4 roundabout has roadworks as well and that can slow you up a bit. I would be tempted to go the M40-M25-M3 way.
-
Did I say burnout I meant leisurely Sunday afternoon drive lol.
-
Pretty much yeah. Then after a bit of standing around getting cold an wet we can head down a junction to somewhere I know that does reasonable food and drink and has a cool bit of dual carriageway for some burnouts lol.

Get new ones!!! LOL
-
Hi supra stevo U find your way here from the other forum ???
-
none taken LOL
-
Will that fix my dodgy kph mph conversion job though???
-
Calipers are pretty solid. A replacement seal kit should suffice. If you have enough nouse to know how to do the job it should be all good.
-
So it aint worth putting the thing back together with old seals and having to take it apart then when it leaks. Better off getting a caliper servicing kit. The caliper seals were probably old and swollen anyway which is probably why he had difficulty pushing them back in. Replace the seals in the caliper give it a damn good clean up and it will be as good as new. As I said previous paint the thing a natty red or green and it will stand out pukker!
-
Heh heh I only do it to annoy u dog f*ckers lol (RAF speak for leccies)
-
Cool will do. I allways thought that since I bought the car the leccy conversion was done on the cheap. I do at some point want the wagon de-limiting so if I can cure my speedo probs and de-limit at the same time that would be ace. If I can get someone else to do that job for not extortionate moolah then I will do that (I hate car electrics they are almost as bad as aircraft electrics which I drill through for a laff). Anyhows what you doin about ur problem white boy???
-
Yep those are all the reverse ones the standard ones (still indiglo) are here :- http://www.procarparts.com/store-detail.asp?sku=TOY%2DSUP%2D9397%2DWHXX%2DXXXX%2DGG6X I am gonna get the euro reverse ones and see if i can modify them. If I can get registered on the site, it doesn't seem to be letting me register at the mo. If you want some Tim I can put yours in with mine save on shipping costs

When I had the pads replaced on mine when I got it (N/A J-spec) the guy that did them said they were the same brakes as on a lexus. Spoke to steve W2 at soton meet this month and he said that these were the typical jap brakes. As far as screw or push is concerned my honda accord coupe brakes were screw backs and had big slots cut in the face of the piston to facilitate piston manual return. Take the caliper off- should only be a couple of bolts usually allen heads. Be carefull not to crush damage the pipe when you do this by twisting it. Take the pads back off and look see if there are slots cut in the face of the piston. Also check to see if the piston appears to be sitting straight inside the housing. If it isn't I would suggest you get a caliper servicing kit and replace the seals in case you have nicked the seal. You could always at this point take the calipers off clean them up and paint them (looks uber cool). One other thing did you replace the pads on both sides and have you got the problem on both sides? If one side pushed in and the other side wont then its probably not a screw back type!

Now this is of some interest to me. The garage that had my wagon converted to mph and the lights etc used a bloke with a stetson on I reckon. From what I could see of the wiring in the tail lights it was a right bodge job. The needle on my speedo basically drops to 0 on hard acceleration and stays there until I stop accelerating. Not too much of a problem in a straight line drag, I just have to guess at how fast I am going til I lift off the gas. But if it has the potential to be messing with my steering then this is all bad. I should also add that when he did the conversion to mph I'm not sure how he did it as there is no new dial just an mph sticker (which is now peeling off) stuck over kph! My wagon isnt delimited either. So who is this Thor geezer? Will he be at the meet in Fleet (hey that rhymes lol) or will he be on the plains in spain (dammit stop man)? White soop with ur dodgy back lights an now needle problems I reckon the same guy did our leccy stuff lol. PS as I am taking my dials out anyway (dash spray) I am looking at replacing them with these:- http://www.procarparts.com/store-detail.asp?sku=TOY%2DSUP%2D9397%2DWHXX%2DXXXX%2DGG6X] Or these:- http://www.procarparts.com/store-detail.asp?sku=TOY%2DSUP%2D9398%2DWHXX%2DMTXX%2DRVGX PPS White soop don't go writing your motor off eh? You only just got insurance for it!!!

I imagine that as they sell so cheaply their cars shift out of there quite quickly. At those prices dealers probably buy them tart them up a bit and put them on their own forecourts. Question I have to ask though is where is he getting his stock from to sell at those prices??? OK he will give you knacker all on a px which will give him about 40% of his stock but wheres the rest coming from at that price???
