  1. I always use torgue wrench. Firstly set 80 NM, then short drive around neighborhood and re tighten to 110 NM. I guess I am the only one among my friends who does this procedure, but my OCD is happy B-)
  2. The same sound here - Tipronic 1997 everything stock. What about whistling from turbos´ shafts???
  3. This could help a little. I will be back in garage next weekend for exact measurement, I guess it is too late :-)
  4. Sadly, not only each country follows different rules for registering imports, but also each office in my country has different approach. I ended up to have my sup tested in Tuv Sud laboratory and their technical reports were enough for registration in Czech.... Took me 6 months though.
  5. I have Febest one too. So far 1 year and 4000 km without any problem.
  6. This is, what I used on my calipers… ATE
  7. And for locking the shaft, I used this universal tool fot 10 euro.
  8. I took this one: https://www.febest.cz/febest-katalog/gumove-dily/remenice/crankshaft-pulley-engine-1jzge-2jzge-2jzgte.html Febest has official dealer in my country, so i did not pay any tax or whatsoever. This is copy of original one, but the holes from balancing machine. I did not find any negative review on febest one, so I pulled the triger. So far so good...
  9. I've got one from Febest year ago. Still without any problem.
  10. I just learn everything to do myself! All garages just do not care about cars, but about money. If I was lucky and found one mechanic, who really cares about cars, he knows nothing about supras, or Japan cars are not his taste. Anyway, as Rob W wrote, I am the same! I am always all the time with my car during whole MOT.
  11. Thanks. I was trying to find this kind of phototutorial before I started but no luck. So I hope this will help someone in future to get better idea what to expect
  12. Hi, someone outside UK can find this info interesting :-) Japan facelift yellowish light Baking 90°C for 8-10 minuts Internals disassembled Little bit of sanding, small sheet of aluminium and 2 rivets made the trick Before MOT in Czech both headlights were LHD upgraded, cleaned and polished and MOT was successful !
  13. There is another link, which I use a lot: http://japan.toylexparts.com
  14. I´ve been there :-) I read manual 1000x before I actually own my Supra :-) Anyway, it is really nice job! I hope you will post more and more photos!
  15. Hello, When I was changing all four struts and springs on my Mitsubishi Eclipse, I had the same "problem". It is because you used stock height struts and lowering springs. Anyway, I installed it 2 years ago and drive it without any problem. Just pay attention to springs position towards top mount during installation to the car ;-)
  16. As evinX wrote, let her test by some vehicle inspection company - TUV SUD/ DEKRA. I used TUV SUD and they gave me data for emissions and also complete data sheet with all specifications needed to pass MOT in Czech. Not cheap, but only way to get it officially on Czech license plates.
  17. Just overview of colors and years....
  18. Yes, standard size aux belt - I used just the one which I took off and of course then I used brand new one from Dayco :-) I do not think that the load on pulleys is so extreme. Anyway, you don´t do this so often to create some bearing clearance on pulleys. I really didn´t want to use trick with starter and I also didn´t have any air tool at home, so this method was perfect for me.
  19. Hey guys, I used method with old belt from youtube video tutorial + 1,5m long steel bar =3 minute work :-)
