  1. I used tempcover when I bought/collected my supra (however at this point I was then the owner of the car so needed a policy) - they do insure imports. Below is direct copy from their website: "Can I insure an imported vehicle? Yes, in most cases we are able to insure an imported vehicle. When you add your car registration to the quote we will tell you immediately if we are unable to insure the vehicle."
  2. My pic does make them look like they glare, but they're more subdued than that. The dimmer works without flickering too. I can't recommend Moman enough (I was a bit picky over the colour and they were very helpful and patient).
  3. These are mine, custom designed by Moman. The pictures don't do them justice really, but they are a beautiful purple.
  4. A couple of recent movies I've seen and would like to comment on: Killing them Softly - no no no no. Just no. Appalling and pointless. Don't waste your time. Seven Psychopaths - absolutely outstanding IMO. I can't really explain why, but I loved this. All the characters were interesting and the plot unexpected.
  5. I know Sky use Markerstudy and Chaucer, as I moved from LWIB (Markerstudy) to Sky (Chaucer) last year. Sky gave me an ok renewal offer this year, and knocked another £150 off when I called them, but they couldn't touch Admiral for price which was a shame as I wanted to stick with Sky. I'm not sure why, but my quotes have really come down this year (I didn't hit any significant ages) and my policy cost has about halved in 12 months.
  6. Your story sounds similar to mine from last year. To cut a long story short, I was insured with Markerstudy through LWIB and got hit by an idiot who immediately accepted responsibility through his insurer Aviva. My accident happened on 1st Feb and I didn't get my repaired car back until 1st May. I had problem after problem with all involved, including the hire company causing me grief with threats and passing on of false information to me. Each party showed their own lack of communication with the others and myself, caused me nearly 3 months of unnecessary stress and offered no apologies. Thankfully I got the right outcome at the end (my car was fixed beautifully at my own body shop), but it has left me completely deluded with the whole process and industry.
  7. Just seen an article about Alien:Isolation. Not played any Alien games before, but this sounds amazing. It's described as a first-person survivor horror stealth game. I hope it lives up to the hype... "You play original character Ellen Ripley's daughter Amanda, stuck on a ship with the creature. It's a 9ft tall monster Xenomorph which, if you get too close, will kill you instantly without any chance of a revive. So for most of the game it becomes a cat-and-mouse style intense game of hide-and-seek between you and it. Bosses reckon it's going to ramp the fear factor to the max."
  8. Santa brought the xbox one (was inevitable as I only played The Last of Us on the PS3 and did all other gaming on the 360). I like the xbox one and am really enjoying Assassin's Creed Black Flag right now. I do feel however that it has so much more to give and that it needs a hell of a lot of game development to show the improvement over the 360 (or indeed the PS3). It all feels a bit rushed as it stands. I'm looking forward to the new games. I'm still waiting for something to blow Oblivion/Elder Scrolls gaming out of the water. It still puzzles me why no games since have felt as long, vast or immersive.

I'd be happy to swap Think it would look lovely with my purple dials...
  10. Best picture yet - wonder what's in the barrel if he's defecating Supra's...? Nice shot. York is perfect for an atmospheric shot. Just need a ghost floating by and it would be perfect.
  11. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
  12. I've got this one. It fits with no issues. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?284693-Pioneer-AVH-2400BT-Double-Din&highlight=pioneer+double+din It worked well on BT with my last iPhone and just as well on my current android phone. There's a satnav add-on you can buy, but I can't comment on how good this is as I don't have it. Overall it does everything I want and I'm very happy with it.
