  1. That's the one. It was awkward, almost in an artsy way. The ending obviously left some people aggrieved, but I liked the creepiness of it and how it was odd and untidy.
  2. Just watched Red Lights. Weird and bizarre, yet surprisingly engrossing and enjoyable.
  3. It feels like years ago when I first saw the trailer. I think I saw something about a bluray release in October...
  4. Elysium is another film I really enjoyed. I'm still on the look out for Snowpiercer, but the release for that was a little odd...
  5. Another fan of True Detective here. Absolutely loved everything about it. Can't wait for the next series. Just started on Resurrection which is pretty addictive viewing, and season 3 of Suits which just continues to be awesome.
  6. Finally got around to watching The Raid. Like some of you previously said, magnificent choreography, but almost without a plot. Good enough movie, just nothing like I was expecting.
  7. Shame you didn't like The Jacket. Tonight's film was the original animated Transformer's movie. Very enjoyable. Go Hot Rod.
  8. I used the Quixx kit. I've since had to buy more wet and dry sandpaper (bought at a shop in Hessle as it's a pain to find in the grades I wanted), but the products in the kit are still going strong. I tape off the lights on the car and sand them back up to a polish by hand. No machines. Fairly quick job too. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?269491-Interim-headlight-refurb&highlight=Quixx
  9. Very sad. RIP in Mr Attenborough. Legend. Almost feel bad going on to say tonight it was the turn of Man of Steel. There was nothing wrong with the movie, it just left me feeling kind of unfulfilled.
  10. For me it's going to take a lot to beat The Departed.
  11. Tonight's offering - The Wolf of Wall Street. Another amazing performance from DiCaprio, but boy it did feel long.
  12. The Jacket : Loved by Supra owners....
  13. Yay, another fan. I think I finally caught it on 'never miss' on Sky, but I do remember it was hard to track down.
  14. Obviously just my opinion, but I loved this movie so much. I wasn't a Brody fan before, but this changed my opinion. It's clever and manages to affect you in weird ways.
  15. Agreed. I really thought it was a great movie, even if the twists were a little obvious, it didn't distract from the spectical. On another note - have you seen The Jacket?
  16. Just watched The Prestige tonight. Really enjoyed it. Do you think Angier was playing the long game? Ie, he knew Alfred was just as obsessed, so it was always an effort to frame him (especially considering the method used to kill the clones)?
  17. Sounds like my house, except we just went from Anchorman 2 to Arachnid to Star Wars... and now the quotes have started coming...
  18. Awesome movie. Just need to stumble across it, and then you're hooked until the end all over again. Enjoy.
  19. Anchorman 2 - really stupid, probably should have been drunk to watch this, but still entertaining in parts. Best bit was the cameos near the end.
  20. Just watched Escape Plan. Had no idea what this was about before watching, but was pleasantly surprised. Some of the twists were obvious, but it was still really enjoyable. Nice premise and good to see the old timers still kicking butt.
  21. Another fan of Bunraku here. I thought it was beautifully shot.

    My Supra

My boyfriend came in last week having seen a 'bright green Supra' near Hessle. I guess that was you? (I never see them, especially when I'm in mine!)

    Admiral

To be honest the mods I have are mainly cosmetic, so it was minimal (about £20 ish on top of what I was quoted). My big issue was the OEM body kit, but they will replace this on my policy as it's a factory mod. My wheels are non-standard but to be honest they're a bit naff (look better with a bit of plastidip). It suits my purpose for now and halved my bill.

    Admiral

I've gone with Admiral this year. I queried every part of the policy with them, including make/model/engine/import/value etc etc, all was right. It is correct that they won't replace modifications like for like UNLESS they are factory fitted, so I had no problems (and saved a lot!).
