  1. I was going to buy a rover 200 and do EXaCTLY that to it. I'll have to go off and rethink my plans now. *shakes fist at LBM*
  2. Religion gives evil people a grounds from which to recruit people who are feeble minded and who can be easily led. There are no gods. Evolution all the way
  3. Any spacer over 5mm on a Supra requires extended studs as well. No 10mm spacer can have built in studs as 10mm isn't enough material to hold a retained stud safely for mounting a road wheel to. 25mm is big enough to be mounted as an adaptor with it's own 'extra' studs though. A 25 mm adaptor style spacer can be bolted to your original studs and have a set of its own studs, identical in size etc to the cars. If you intend using 10mm spacers, you will need new, extended studs mounted in the hubs to which they will be fitted. As above for the spigot rings though, they are designed to take up the slack in the Centre Bore of a universal fitment spacer. You can buy spacers that have been machined to be a direct fit without the need for spigot rings. One word of advice though, try and find the spigot rings in aluminium, the nylon/plastic ones tend to crumble over time and cease to do the job they were intended for, thus putting all of your forces directly to your wheel studs....this is bad!!
  4. Someone tell me, how can someone who is apparently so into building their own car, then come on another members thread and slate their project? I'm thinking that there are many modifications on your car that people on here dont like, but do they start tearing into it? Its a small minded man that has to belittle others to make himself feel big....just my opinion. I, for one, think your F&F tribute car is mint mate.
  5. Hahaha...or ask them if they need a long stand.....
  6. I hate getting marketting calls, I'm currently getting 4 to 5 PPI companies ringing me....it boils my urine mate.
  7. Wish I'd kept my nose clean as a kid....I ruined any chances of joining the Police force....and now i'm an oily handed grease monkey. I wish I wish I wish......(clicks heels 3 times etc etc)
  8. I scream down the phone "THIS.....IS.....SPAAAARRRTTAAAAAA!!!!!!" .....then hang up.
  9. Cool.....Supras Uncool....Broken Porsches
  10. I'm afraid it's not a case of 'wont' pay for a new one....I have an NA that I got for nowt and I'm doing bits and pieces with it as a toy. I couldn't justify paying the £300 whatever for a new pulley if mine went because its just wouldn't be worth it. I can buy a perfectly serviceable (for my needs) solid one for a lot less instead of having no choice but to cut my losses and break/sell/scrap my car. I realise that some people will replace the crank for a solid one simply for the lower inertia aspect etc, but I would simply be using one for the economy of it.
  11. Its worth the money to someone who wants a running project though. It might need thousands spent on it, but those few grand spent over 4 or 5 years is nothing compared to what a lot of lads on here spend on mods alone!
  12. Very interesting. I'd like to test this on my N/A engine, long term, with a solid pulley. Solid pulleys are cheap and so are NA engines. Being a non interferance engine though, it could be as simple as a crank/bearing set replacement.
  13. I'd use a solid one if I could get one, but on an N/A engine this probably wouldn't pose much of an issue anyway. It would be for simple peace of mind more than anything.
  14. Put the 5mm ones back on. I'm running 5mm spacers without any problems. Been like this for 2 months now.
  15. The only other Forum that came close to being as friendly and helpful as this one was the Mondeo one I was on 5 years ago when I had my ST24. Awesome stuff Josh.
  16. Proper Supra wheels these...GLWS mate.
  17. Hahaha, I liked the occupants whooping noises almost as much as the driving!
  18. Definitely seen that car lurking in here somewhere.
  19. If its the rear only it will fit. If its the centre and rear, then it should fit but check the flange and pipe size from your downpipe. If its from manifold to rear, then the downpipes defo wont fit. If the downpipes are decat'd ones, I might buy them from you!
