Maybe its just me but I would of at least run it up to full temp every couple of months, put a cover over it too even if it was in a barn. Just sounds more like its been neglected to me. I guess no one will know for sure until pics are up.

Not yet.. I was looking to go to Australia to meet some family over Christmas so was thinking to save myself £200 and bring back the super pro ones in my suitcase! Not sure if I can wait that long tho!

Never ever too old to own a supra! I wouldn't know about costs on bodywork but normally the whole panel would need re spraying not just the part that's damaged and sometimes even further to match it all up. Well if its just the speedo and not the revs etc, then it could be just needing a new speed converter. Mines just gone, if its an auto the o/d light will flash as well. Where to buy one and how much for is what I'm trying to find out atm.
