Wow those hoses are bulging That's gotta be more than 1.1 or 1.3 bar rad cap relief opening pressure surely Run it with the rad cap off from cold and see wot happens -

As Jekyll says, remove stat and run it -
Just made some injector ports and did some polishy shiney weldy stuff Can use the ports for all manner of fuels

Also, to check for hg leak, start the car from cold and having released any pressure in the radiator first Then after a short time of idle check the hose, it should be soft and not pressurised

Relocated my fusebox so my big plenum and throttle body fit Made up new mounts for the fusebox and works well in the new position

Gotta tidy up the carpet, and polish it up
