Following on from this thread : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?342048-Anyone-here-use-a-CARCOON-garage&p=4219975#post4219975 Carcoon are offering club members 10% discount if we can get 5 members to buy one of their carcoons each (of any type) http://www.carcoon.com You will be dealing direct with Joyce at Carcoon who will manage a payment list. Thanks! Buyers list: 1) Me 2) Jamesy 3) DBZ 4) Greg...depending on clutch costs? 5) [edit] We're ordering now, if you want to get in on this deal then be quick!
  3. It seems anything from 6 to 10 years from what I've read depending on how often used, where located (in the wind, direct sun, which climate) etc. Common complaints from what I read are the outside silver seems to wear off and the zips break over time. I'd imagine it's like anything - take care of it, keep the outside clean, then it will last longer. I'd be happy with £100 a year average to keep my car in good condition. - - - Updated - - - Thanks for the feedback
  4. I heard he'd have gone faster if it wasn't for slowing down to checkout the Supras.
  5. From my research a few months ago I found forum comments from users of them very positive. They do have a life span as you'd image and will eventually start to wear and fail, but it seems it's a good few years.
  6. I'll start a group buy thread tonight - how soon were you looking to buy? I need one quick now.
  7. I'm not sure you'll find anyone here recommending shi....sorry....Knight Racer.. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?180862-Has-anybody-bought-their-bodykits-from-Knight-Racer&highlight=knight+racer
  8. All good for me. I was given a free glass of wine by the waiter. Weather was brilliant!
  9. Good for TomTom users...but I'm not paying a load of cash out for something I'll barely ever use and I have free lifetime Euro maps with my Garmin.
  10. I don't suppose anyone has these boot bits they'd care to sell me and bring along for the ride?
  11. Download got removed. Here's another : http://www.ebook3000.com/Modern-Classics-Magazine---June-2017_443300.html
  12. I don't think we have time mate.
  13. I'm led to believe it doesn't take long. I have another car I'll put in it to keep it upright.
  14. That's a bummer. I hope not - I'm not going anywhere near it!
  15. API request from the tunnel has arrived - but can't use without a "booking password"? [edit] Never mind - it was in a separate email from the chunnel

    Hks dli

I had to do a little reading up on these as I wasn't 100% sure what they did. Found a great thread from back in the day here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?26783-HKS-DLI-questions
  17. Does anyone have up to date speed camera / radar location database POIs for UK, France, Belgium and Germany? I'd like to pull them into my Garmin for Dragonball trip. Ta.
  18. Would really appreciate it, thanks.
  19. You always assume everyone has sub channels, they don't. Are we going with Channel 5 to support all the cheap radios? [edit] No. - Final answer is USE CHANNEL 5.5. If your device doesn't support sub channels then prepared to be lonely.
  20. Looking at my notes: Supra Dimensions: 178″ L x 71″ W x 50″ H 452cm x 181cm x 127.5cm Size 4 or 5 carcoon I'd prefer smaller I think
  21. Looks like I'm going to be buying one of these too seeing as I've not sorted out my garage arrangement. From what I've read by owners you need to shift snow and such like off them in winter as they will collapse. Group buy?
