Oh and also that's a 4500 miles policy with the car garaged. My postcode is certainly nothing special, for example, someone just got their mountain bike stolen 3 nights ago from down the road out of their shed. Don't get me wrong though, its by no means a shit area. I called a company called Need2insure and they got me the policy with equity redstar. I also got a quote for an rx7 which was £150 cheaper and included track day cover for 3 days included in the policy! Only reason I don't have track day cover on my car is because of the mods. They classed the rx7 as a classic car and not the supra :/ Either way I was happy

I paid £660 fully comp with 3 points on licence and load of mods declared including engine swap as one of them. £300 excess too. And 25yo. Try equity redstar for a quote

I have this problem with my supra tt, no idea what causes it. The car runs good enough so will leave it for now until I get it taken for an inspection

toyo t1r tyres are pretty good, although vredestein tyres are quite popular. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/ is a good website to check for opinions, although most tyres have some good and bad reviews.

Does the supra require those hid cancellation kits or is it a simple straight in job? I sure I've seen some cars don't like hid kits and you get all sorts of error codes in the dash and cause some epileptic fits as you turn the lights on

Isn't 4300k the best to go for in terms of visible light? Either or I don't mind as long as they aren't too blue. The ones on my alfa pretty much light the sky up and it pisses people off constantly.

Basically I'm thinking of buying some HID's but obviously I know they can get real hot so was wondering whether jspec headlights are suitable since they are a clear plastic type material rather than glass? If they will be fine then can anyone recommend a good ebay job? Or a set that is relatively cheap. I've noticed the prices have dropped some what since the last time I bought some many years ago. Think I will be purchasing some 4300k lights if it is a feasible option. Thanks in advance! Oh btw, its h4 right?

Seems so, but I only have the crappy jack that comes with the car so looks like getting them all off and cleaned is going to be an all day job. On another note, what is the max width advisable for alloys on the front of the supra with stock arches and no spacer?

Basically on my supra I can't tell the correct dimensions of the alloys. I just know they are Rays Volk Racing Challenge alloys. The tyres on the front are 235/45/zr17 The tyres on the rear are 255/40/zr17 Obviously I know they are 17" alloys but I am looking for some new alloys and just would to knock what alloy sizes would be appropriate. Going to go to 18" i think, the width at the back is fine and the front looks as though it could manage a tiny bit wider. I'm assuming there is a wheel spacer on the back wheels but not the front. I've tried uploading photos but just keeps saying it's failed, will try again soon Thanks in advance
