Up untill yesterday i had this sold, but due to a rather timewasting member on here who i'll not name its now got to go to make room for another one i'm buying at end of january. I really dont have the time to fix it myself which was my first intention so best to sell it to someone that does. 1995 N/A manual 5 speed Damaged parts are as follows: passenger side wing front bumper passenger side headlight and indicator rad support is bent where the headlight goes carbon bonnet is fixable but will need to be painted also needs possible tie rod, and other passenger side suspension components has a bent lip on front passenger wheel but still holds air front passenger tyre( 235/30/19) Ive had a quote from my painter and he said 500 to fix plus parts. Also have 2 liters of the correct paint which i just purchased(enough to paint the whole car) Recently had a full respray in range rover "vesuvious orange" at end of september. No rust anywhere on the car and starts and runs mint everytime and has never let me down. Clock is showing 171,879 kms and hasnt been converted to mph yet. Interior is in good condition everything works even a/c, and has black leather headliner and visors. It still has stock jspec brakes and bilstiens. The wheels are as new condition just purchased in august with brand new back tyres. No kerbing anywhere 8.5x19 fronts, 9.5x19 rears and my painter said you could probaly get the bent lip straight with a rubber mallot. Asking 1300 with paint. Looks smilar to the one I have, bargain at £70. 

On fifth gear they said it handled like crap compared to the 458. Looks wise it's amazing but if it isn't fun to drive I dont see how it could be car of the year.

Buy a compression tester and screw into each sparkplug hole and get a buddy to crank the engine over for 5 secs or so... Simples. 

I get all my xl- xxl stuff from tk max, cheap too.

Well, the insurance co. has gotten back to me with a value of 3600 pounds minus 500 scrap value so i might as well fix the car up and sell it on. And get myself a twin turbo Parts needed: Passenger side wing Passenger side headlight (pre-facelift) Front bumper either stock with a lip, or aftermarket (anything other than veilside) 2x tyres 245/30/19 Bonnet stock or aftermarket doesnt matter Facelift clear indicators Front passenger side suspension (would prefer whole assembly as i dont know the extent of the damage to mine) Thanks.

Yeah don't want the five speed box mate, was going to do a TT conversion on my n/a this spring and would still have to upgrade the box in that. Would any of my 5speed parts be useful in the conversion if I get my car back as scrap?

Seeing as my car will most likely be a write off, I've been looking at supras for sale and can't find many TT manuals. Question is how much will it cost to convert an auto TT to a six speed? And is there someone that specialises in this on the forum? Thanks for any info

Haha funny guy, already got them out the car and stock ones back in Guess they will make nice gaming chairs till i get another supra. Spoke to the insurance company this morning and they said it will be a write off most likely

I have it insured with Livingstone Warman Ins. co. on a cherished car policy, and the value agreed was 4000 pounds before it was painted. Im sure they would have known it was previously cat "c" from the history, and based the evaluation on it being repaired and inspected in 2009. Just got another pic of it, and the headlight stuck through my bonnet. Looks like a supra eating monster came down my road and took a bite out the front Cant see any significant damage to the suspension components, so hoping all the damage isnt in the leg. Better go swap my recaros over to the stock seats in case insurance does write it off.

Doesn't matter about the write off status mate because it already is a cat "c". That's why I was fixing it up to keep and enjoy for the years ahead and get the TT conversion done in the spring. Hopefully it looks better in the daylight and is mostly cosmetic. Just really disappoints me that it's caused by someone in a rush to get to morrisons. I guess if I end up being able to keep it the bonnet will have to be painted now. My neck and shoulder is killing me this morning, think a lawsuit is in order.

Decided to go for a nice drive today and get a bit of shopping, car was nice and clean and running perfectly then suddenly.... a stupid little nissan micra decides to make a right hand turn in front of me. Not good, didnt even have time to hit the brakes. Travelling at 30-35mph i attempted to avoid him by going into the oncoming traffic but too late. Lucky i did swerve to the right because if i didnt i would have smashed the entire front of my car. The 65 year old man did two 360's in his little car which must have been quite the experiance. He accepted full resposibility at the scene and says so on the police reports, however i have whiplash now and it seems to be getting worse. Been down the hospital and all they did was poke around and give me a pack of co-codomal. Being from Canada i havnt had any crashs here before and not sure how it all works in the UK. I'll attach a pic of the car before and after, any thoughts on the damage and if it will be written off because of this. From looking this is what i see broken: headlight (disintergrated on impact) indicator (same) bumper (same) rad support (bent) carbon bonnet(smashed on one corner and piece of headlight speared through it...lol) wheel(bent) tyre(gouge in side wall) wing(crunched) undertray(dissapeared) wheel arch liner Also wheels are pointing in different directions so suspension components. It was already quite dark out so the pic isnt the best i'll get some better ones in the morning. Glad i decided on factory Range Rover paint now. Lucky no one was behind me or it would have got messy. Thanks.
