  1. Good price for an engine that comes with all the extra's. Useful thing to have just for the spares this.
  2. Mitchell, did you want me to try and sort those brass heater knobs we discussed previously?
  3. There are clips that the sills hook into. The car should have mounted holders which the sill will slot into.

  5. These are tasty. To get the smooth effect, did you sand down the flats?
  6. Sunday - 17th June - Plymouth A few friend's from Torbay Scoobies car club mentioned about this small charity event down in plymouth next month. Was considering going, thought I would post up the event as to get people interested, considering it's for a good cause. The selection of car's seems to be hugely varied. Worth a look. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-18161921
  7. I am looking for a bit more than £30 posted. The box made to send this will be custom made to ensure safety, and considering I will need to spend some time and money getting it bran new, I think that needs to be took into consideration. I'm not looking for a silly amount, but these don't cost £10 to make and its not a five minute job. All the comments I've ever had, people always thought it was a stock item bought for fitment. It may be custom but it gives that genuine Toyota feel as colour matchs the dash.
  8. Before I begin to make new ones, I'm considering selling my own as I want to make something extra and want to start from scratch. I'll probably remove it, give it a good clean up and re-spray it before sale so it's good as new. Was wondering what people would offer me for it. Am tempted to put it on ebay, as this wasn't made with the intention for re-sale. Offers? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?250724-Triple-Pillar-Pod-Custom-Project&highlight=Custom+pillar+pod+triple
  9. If you do go with DoLuck archs, save your ALOT of time and hassle when it comes to fitting and cut the stock archs and mould them in. Will take longer but less hassle in the long run and a HUGE difference in fitment. My DoLuck fronts are a bit of a gash fitment. Fibreglass ins't the best, and even genuine products won't always fit properly (if ever; reference mitchell - doluck bonnet). Blend them to stock archs. If I had the choice to do it again, I would. And there are more like 15-20mm wider. I used 25mm spacers and my wheels were set in my archs a good 10mm, they now meet the arch with the wings on, so no way that was definitely 25mm as they would be sat exactly the same. Get the wings before the spacers, and measure your clearance required. Don't forget some doluck copies don't include headlight brackets, which I found out they are welded to the wing (if you've never looked and inspected your headlight mounts, you wouldn't know). Spending ££££ won't mean they fit. I bought cheap ones with a huge vent in the side and used the cash I saved to get them cleaned up. You'd be best going with cheaper items and spending the money getting them fitted properly. Fibreglass wings won't have a decent fit, 150-400 quid won't net you much difference in quality IMO
  10. usually NA systems use smaller diameter pipe too.
  11. Thought about it but think it might be too much. all being nlack. might work on a white car? that looks nice jazz. carbon definitely has a presence.
  12. Blend isnt an option. trial blended looks nice but a stock bumper with spats blended doesnt. Trial and error seems to be the way forward. if i log dimensions i should get a good equal pair. Listy making a whole mould seems pretty extreme. i reckon i could modify the fibreglass without adding too much weight.
  13. Not at all. its tough and durable thought its properties arent bullet proof. i use a standard jigsaw. a good sand on the edges to smooth things up and your away. it really is that simple jon.
  14. I currently have veilside rear spats. When drifting (or attempting to do so) a tyre came apart and damaged the driver side spat. Now needing repair, I had a few ideas to try something different during the respray. I want to bring the spats down lower, making them wrap around more in the same way the trail rear bumper comes down further, bringing them closer into the wheel but keeping the typical shapes and lines. Any ideas on custom spats, or different designs would be great. As I'm unsure where to start, where to go, or if this is even the right concept. Either way I need to respray my spats, so making them slightly different would be great. Anyone have any ideas?
  15. Thanks mate Kind words appreciated. Can't wait to get some more bits custom made. I feel I will be sorting out making stuff for others this summer also
  16. I ordered it from a plastic company in bristol. It's 4.5mm thick, perfect for the rubber strip that accomadates 4.5mm thickness for Carbon Splitters that can be found on carbonmods.co.uk Yes mate. Took a bit of work getting it to be perfectly equal both sides. I measured the distance that looked about right and kept it equal, where my bumper comes in I just followed the line as I wanted it to be as round as I could get it but still following the line of the bumper. Thats a nice splitter. But considering the thickness of the one I have, if you had the same depth you would hardly notice it, and would look like you had purely done it just to support some chrome bars. If the material was thicker, I may have reduced it's size. But I wanted it to be noticed, therefore the area had to be increased. Being so thin, it probably wouldn't of even been noticed if I copied his distance from the bumper. And to be honest, if you check the side views, there isn't a huge difference in the two. His looks too fat for my liking. Some more pictures of the finished product. The material used was Embossed Polyprop. 2440x1220x3mm £30.00 plus vat 2440x1220x4.5mm £39.10 plus vat I went with the 4.5mm thickness. The rubber strip was ordered from Carbonmods.co.uk as well a the stainless steel bars. CHECK the length you want these bars to go to. They aren't that long, and don't expect one size fits all. The threads are limited on length. Can't remember if website gives maximum length required on the bars, if someone wants to know I can remove one of mine easy enough and measure it. I can give the contact details for the company located in Bristol if required. The price total price for the sheet was just over £70 delivered.
  17. Took a few hours to sort this out on saturday. Parts cost me £100. The design of the C-West bumper allows the extension of the splitter to follow the lines of the car, so it suits fairly well. Public comment on it are positive. So I think I'll be keeping it. Have got a few better shots, but for now, just a few naff ones off my phone and a final shot someone got at the Exmouth modified meet I attended yesterday.
  18. The stock gauges? or aftermarket. cuz that would take forever. ive probably too many..but on an na-t you cant ever be too sure. your pushing limitations. maybe i should get a few more... just in case! lol
  19. On the front ive used just standard car filler mate. It gets a bit pourus so needed to clean up the finish and fill the holes afterwards. Filler primer and some 1200 grit paper helps finish off the top sutface tillyou get a real decent finish. What you thinking of making :-)
  20. Made some progress with this. Just need to buy some more matt paint and then it's ready.
  21. Not the kinda thing you should post on sometimes for sale thread IMO mate.
  22. Yes it would work. ignition cut is not a boost related process.

    UK Brakes - Pins

Are they just usual 316 stainless steel?
  24. Looking nice. Goes a treat with a silver car.
