  1. I'm having trouble guys......I recently installed a set of Hecklers PCB's into my gauge cluster. Since installing none of them light up, I've tried soldering the connections the opposite way around to make sure i had them the right way. And also tried clamping the wires to the pcb's on the circuit board under screws labeled '+' and 'g' and still get no light. Now i just went to the car and tried giving the pcb's there own independent power source and each time when i power one of them all 3 light up so the circuit is complete it just seems it's not getting power! I checked the fuses in the engine fuse box and they are all fine. What could this be!?!?! Are there any interior fuses that could have gone? For what it's worth the indicators still work just not the PCB's......
  2. Nice, im in the midlands ill have to pop over and take a look at that aingle turbo kit when its done i want to go single sometime soon
  3. So ive now tried the wires both ways round and then also tried trapping the wire under a positive and negative labeled terminal on the back of the gauge holder and still no light. any clues where im going wrong guys? All the indicators and stuff are working iust not the pcbs.
  4. All back in the car and fitted and none of them light up ive obviously soldered them wrong wahhhhhh
  5. Nah it didnt, i tried that several times, those two white plastic pieces just support the back of the screen, they arent actually connected to anything.
  6. Yeah the screen does prise up, and also doesnt fully remove, i couldnt figure out how on earth to get enough clearance on the screen to get the plastic clear though i ended up prising the plastic just far enough up to get the PCB past the centre piece that controls the needle. Snapped a piece of plastic off the mount in the process but hasnt affected anything at all it seems so all is well, just got to get it back together now! Cheers
  7. Hey guys, I'm having a real problem here Trying my best to fit one of hecklers PCB kits to the tacho/rpm gauge of my facelift Tiptronic and having no joy what so ever. I've followed his guide and also spoken with him but he's never done a tiptronic before and i can't fifgure out how to take it to pieces! If any of you have done this before or know of a guide or thread that it's been asked before that would be much appreciated. I've searched and can't find anything. Here's some pics for you, it looks like i need to remove the screen an then the circuit board (maybe it's one piece idk) because the PCB needs to go between the metal centre piece that controls the needle and the bottom where the soldering/wires are. Please help if you can i need to use my car this afternoon I've removed two small screws in the centre and the that part feels free now, i just can't figure out how to remove the rest or the screen without damaging the solders/wires at the bottom!! Thanks
  8. BUMP for this! I've been soaking them in 9% hydrogen peroxide for 5 hours and absolutely nothing has changed Any other ideas guys? Apart from new ones?
  9. Hahah, ooopppssssss, read Midlands, didn't read which Midlands
  10. Im in for a midlands meet, if we can get a few people there!
  11. I kinda thought a lot of 18's looked a little small on the Supra so went for 19's. I bought Varrsteon ES2's in matt black and love them
  12. I'm from the midlands too, when i was searching for a Supra i wanted a 6-Speed also, had never owned an auto and kinda looked down them. After searching for ages and nothing coming up i found a really clean facelift Tiptronic fresh import and i have to say i absolutely love my auto box haha It's soooo nice for day to day driving and when u want speed it feels awesome too, definitely try before you knock it.
  13. Nice Ric! Could you send me the part numbers please? I may as well get a quote
  14. Nice looking engine bay mate! The black and red theme goes really well imo!
