You can use words that have been used before just not words that have been very recently right? Like in the last two posts? Theres no way you can check 2400 pages to see if a word has been used yet. Turbo

Hey Westy, if you decide to buy some Kws i recommend you speak to a guy on here called 'Chino' he made me a great offer on Kws when i was looking for coilovers and was extremely helpful.

Yeah its been boxed in tonight mate and i removed the two efi fuses too so it wont start until the alarm is fitted Yeah i looked into those, thing is they are £100+ i decided id rather invest that money in a better alarm. You had your alarm fitted by motorguard Abz? Hahah, nice find! Ill have to head down the local zoo and see if i can half inch me a suitable monkey Unfortunately im not wealthy enough to join the syvecs clan yet

Thought it's about time for a small update soooo.....I've spent the last few days installing a new sound system in the car The difference is absolutely unreal!! Very happy with how it turned out even if it did take me the best part of 3 days :O The old speakers in all their glory.... New stuff old vs new I didn't end up installing all the sound deadening that i have for the car yet as it was like 3 degrees outside everyday that i did this :O The door cards are super easy to take off so i'll do that at some point when the weather picks up past 10 degrees, probably around August time I really wanted to take my time with this install and get it done properly, hiding all the wires out of sight and such, i decided to make somewhere for the crossovers and amps to sit in the boot out of MDF. And i was really happy with the final product.... So you can't even tell there's even anything installed now, looks completely stock in the boot which is what i wanted I mounted the tweeters in the A pillars and they sound great but i don't have a pic of those atm. I've just booked the car in to have a Clifford 650 cat1 alarm fitted, because I've been told some unsavory characters have been lurking around my baby late at night So i'm also deciding on some nice locking wheel nuts or adding the anti-tilt function to the alarm to protect the alloys, if any of you have this are u happy with it?? I'm also wanting to change my wheel colour once more, i removed the plasti-dipped purple Today because i was fed up of it and i think i'd either like to go gold centres with polished lip, matt white, or matt white with a tiny ring of red near the tire. If any guys are good on Photoshop help would muucchhh appreciated because i have absolutely no clue which to choose from -
Yeah i saw, it's like an extra £80 or something, i guess i could add that instead of locking wheel nuts not sure i can afford both atm :O I'll have to have a think as to which one would be better. Haha, while that sounds cool after you've showed ur pals once i think the novelty would wear off pretty soon lol Unless ur turning ur Supe into a RC car??
-
You can choose between £300 or £350 both are fitted prices, the latter comes with proximity sensors and some sort of blackjax anti hi-jacking system and a free turbo timer wired into the alarm system.

Just booked in to have a Clifford 650 installed next Thursday Think i'll still go out and buy some McGuard wheel nuts though!
-
Do you like the clifford 650? And does the chirping thing not go off every time a cat decides to stroll past the car? Yeah i've been looking at car alarms for the past couple hours now, the clifford 650 and Toad ai606 look good, trying to find a decent fitter in Birmingham, i don't suppose anyone can recommend a good one in the West Midlands?? I'm currently looking at motor guard.

Sorry mate was there a link you meant to put in that post to a steering wheel? I could leave it at my mums but thats just a pain as its my only car and shes a few miles away for me to collect it when i need to use it. Also, something needs to be done about the securtiy anyway because it cant stay at my mums forever and if it isnt these guys coming back it could well be some others Car is parked on the road normally, I dont have a drive, im going to be building a garage for it this year but not immediately so just need some short term security fix. No to both of those things mate, ive considered that too, its quite a pricey solution and ive never been all that keen on those chirping alarms when people get close they seem very sensitive? Do you know of any one in particular thats very good?
-
Hahah, i clearly havent thought about this for very long have I lol yeah, ideally i would want to be keeping them.
-
Yeah mate i did consider something like this. I would certainly like some solid visual deterrents though as well. I dont really want them even trying to break in, even though i realise i cant stop that potentially happenening. Yeah that was the one i was considering mate! Have you tried this or know any good/bad products?

Hey everyone, So i had one of my neighbours pop round my house this evening and tell me that last night at about 2.30am a couple of guys were checking out my car with another near the end of the road as a look out I decided to drop my car off at my moms this evening just incase they were thinking of coming back tonight but id like some advice if i can please!! Ive decided im going to pick up some decent locking nuts tomorrow already incase it was the wheels they were after but im considering either a full wheel disklok or one of those quick release steering hubs, do you guys recommend either of those over the other? Im kinda leaning towards the quick release as i hear even though the diskloks are good they can still be removed in like 2 minutes!! If you do think the quick release is worth it wheres a good place to go for them and the steering boss for a Supra? Cheers!

They're just being a bit of nightmare tbh, I could it, it would just be a lot easier to get them done myself if it wasn't raining and/or absolutely freezing everyday. I have seats from an evo 8 to go in, along with universal seat runners from eBay and the seat frames from this site, Johns ones. The holes on the universal runners don't match up to the seats and its a nightmare to get bolts in too with no space for fingers or anything Haha will do mate don't think I'm going to get it fitted until next year though now! Wait until it warms up before I start rolling around on the floor for a few hours lol and thank you Yeah they aren't, I wanted TE37s but I also had to have 19s so couldn't really go that route. I started researching who make the best quality replica of the TE37 and I found out the company was called varrstoen, so I went with them. Ordered them from the states, very quick delivery and the company I choose to go with really helpful with sidings too, the wheels are 9.5" front and 10.5" rear. Front offset is +22 which is a bit of a pain as they stuck out quite a lot on stock suspension but when I fitted coilovers they were fine, the rear offset is +30 which is absolutely perfect I'll, fits super flush without any rubbing Cheers pal -

I always thought the boost logic 4" sounded by far the best for the Supra tbh.

Cheers mate, and yeah it never stops, part of my life now and i love it wouldn't have it any other way tbh. Cheers mate Cheers Jurgen, we're both fine thanks mate, he's thinking of selling a few of his cars actually :O Haha, i wouldn't have minded tho.... Haha, thanks mate, yeah i realize the wheels aren't going to be to everyone's taste, i'm actually thinking of getting them re-done like the LE37's, gold centres and polished lip. But we'll see...... Took the spoiler off this morning in preparation for fitment of carbon TRD I quite like it spoilerless actually: https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xap1/t31.0-8/10750151_10152861844239176_288198657099414296_o.jpg -

It's been quite some time since my last update so i thought i'm bump this baby back up again as i went out and grabbed some pics of her this morning and i've also done plenty to the car since last time Last time i updated i think the car was pretty stock, since then I've added: - 19" Varrstoen ES2 wheels wrapped in Kuhmo Ecsta le sport rubber - Meister R, Zeta R coilovers - HEL performance braided brake lines - ATE Super blue fluid - Defi boost gauge in place of the clock - Double de-cat (it's running 1bar or just short of 1bar) - RMM front lip And then going on this week i have: - TRD half carbon rear spoiler - Evo 8 recaros fitted with JohnD's seat frames I also have a front mount intercooler i bought off KaanW but i'll probably wait until next year to fit that now, too bloody cold to be rolling around on the floor And now for a few pics that i took this morning I played around with a fantastic photo editor i found online, highly recommended it's called: BeFunky. Really easy and fast to completely transform your pics. https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpa1/t31.0-8/1490810_10152859490364176_396875301326542248_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xfp1/t31.0-8/10333270_10152859491809176_8617861728434021500_o.jpg https://scontent-b-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/t31.0-8/10368985_10152859490944176_2894349437559656819_o.jpg https://scontent-a-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/t31.0-8/10497096_10152859492844176_4611283282327417735_o.jpg https://scontent-a-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/t31.0-8/1400402_10152859493229176_6435093145088330334_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xap1/t31.0-8/10655300_10152859492629176_6962436175819251122_o.jpg Also since my last update i entered my first ever bodybuilding show, i know it's a bit off topic but i was really pleased with myself as i lost about 4 stone of weight to get lean enough to do it over 5 months and i ended up winning the show from a collection of 21 guys Quick pic: Winning that show got me through into the British finals in Nottingham which was held 3 weeks later, in between the 2 shows i lost another 8 lbs but came in looking too lean if anything, kinda bony and my muscles didn't look full There was also 35 guys in my class and a much higher standard with lot's of professional models and guys you see on the front pages of magazines so not too bothered that i didn't make top 6 second time around. Still very proud of my achievement
