  1. Are the TT and NA cover gaskets the same Chris? If so I might have one off you as Toyota have mine on back order and said they would ring me on the 5th but I still havnt had a call to say its in :-/
  2. Welcome James Your best bet would be to go have a test drive of one at a local dealers, then you will know how much room you have. Im 5ft nowt so that's not a problem with me as I can easily get lost in side of mine lol
  3. Hmmm start with the cheep basic stuff. like try new plugs if the ones that are currantly fitted are quite old. Make sure every thing you have touched is fitted correctly. Can you post a video up as this might help?
  4. I got mine with the ffim mate but have you tried eBay?
  5. I dont know if it's just me being thick here, but I dont think there is any outher sensors on the intake apart from the ICV and TPS on the throttle body but if they where bad I wouldn't of thought it would give you the problems you are having Mate :-/ You might find unplugging the o2 sensors will fix your problem. If your car was running fine before you started to take things apart to clean them. you will normally find it's somthing to do with what you have touched if it starts to run funny stright after Hope you get it sorted ASAP as I know myself, trying to find the problem is very frustrating and stressfull
  6. Hmmmmmm this sounds alittle like what My NA auto done after I fitted the turbo kit and it was down to the 02 sensors also, Just quickly try this mate : take the negitive battery terminal off then unplug the 2 sensors from there looms then reconnect the negitive terminal (but still leave the 02 sensors disconnected) then take if for a drive for 10-15mins if all seems fine then go and buy 2 oem lambda sensors, I know they are really expencive but at least you can drive your car and it might save you some money in the long run as you might get a little better mpg with new sensors as some of them have been in ours cars as long as 19 years lol
  7. I like the carbon, but like the turtleshead said they look alook better in the flesh. I think mine look quite naff by picture but I think they look alot better in the flesh, also on a dull day if you stand back they do just look black but if there is alittle bit of sun you can see that they are carbon from miles away
  8. Is yours stock twins? If so Im 99% sure it will have an internal wastegate that is controlled by the actuator, there for you would connect a vacume to the out port to actuator. If it's a single turbo I'm gussing you will most Likly have an external wastegate so the out port vacume would connect to the wastegate. Hope these help
  9. Yep the boost signal (vacume) would come from the turbo to the in port the out port to actuator / wastegate. I don't have the greddy boost controller but I know the solenoid reduces the signal that the wastegate see's so that would be the way it needs set up
  10. Looks sweet mate! What you getting fitted next week like?
  11. Sweet mate! I'm in for the pics
  12. Cheers mate They still need alot of work, I've only had chance to spend a cupple of hours on them so hopfully by the weekend I should have one side done
  13. Yeah eBay mate I've had the lower runners powder coted white to match the spark cover and my white hoses, so hopfully it will look cleaner once it's put together
  14. That's still fantastic power mate! What set up are you running to get that power mate?
  15. Yeah I understand with the ffim mate, that's just to tidy things up and make servicing Easyer. I've got everything to get started now apart from a longer autobox pressure cable that connects to the throttle but I think I'll get that sorted once I have the ffim fitted A few sneak pics : After abit of polishing : And I started to polish the TT covers:
  16. To be honest mate I havent spent much time looking into it yet as I've been working on the 400bhp setup. There is a member on here called David user name :tkddav3 he is running 581bhp on the same setup I want to go TT HG, TT PISTONS , Syvecs (for safety) and FFIM. Im aiming for around 550-600bhp so anywhere inbetween will make me a very happy bunny
  17. Not yet mate, I'm just spending most of this year buying stuff to be honest. I will most likely attempting it around winter time. Once the wire tuck is done and the new inlet if fitted and running ok I'm hoping for around 400bhp @9psi with that. (hopfully this will be done in the next 4-6 weeks) Then If all goes good I will purchase a TT head gasket along with the pistons, injectors and a 6speed and so on. I really want a syvecs as I know it will be alot safer for me but it's going to take quite a lot of saving for all that. But if all goes well ill start on the engine become winter and I havnt got a clue how long it will be off the road for as I will be learning as I go :-/
  18. No mate you need a TT suction port union 44337-24020, suction port union O-Ring 90301-11016, TT reservoir and some 16mm hose and 10mm hose to relocate it
  19. Yeah I would think Halfords would sell them and shouldn't cost anymore then a £5er I would of thought
  20. Yeah mate you can buy universal ones that have a threaded bar that you just tighten in place with the supplied 10mm nut from the underside, but make sure you buy the stock looking black ones and not the chrome ones with the blue lights pmsl
