  1. Got some facelift rear lights and then had Ric (Blueangel) carbon wrap them for me. Must say i'm very happy with his service to say the least. My iphone pic wont do them justice to how good they look up close. Also, Royal Mail decided that they would break them on route to Ric, for no extra charge he fixed the damage. Top bloke Car going back to NUR motorsport for a few small bits then this weekend. Supra Ash will be taking her there. Then hopefully next week I cant get my hands dirty fitting some HKS suspension and ksports all round. After that, remove NA engine and drop car to Rob to spray the bay. Then to Lee at SRD Gonna be a couple of months yet I reckon but making good progress still. Just bought aeromotive single pump and FPR and filter aswell, so no worries about fuelling problems. Probably going to go with a smaller turbo, like a GTX42 for improved spool. Power aims will be around 800bhp,give or take. The torque it produces is more important to me,hence the strokered route. Still nothing is decided yet, going to see how JamieP and Paul Whiffen get on with the new turbo ranges out there before purchasing anything TBH
  2. Lol I've only called him a couple of times but he gets quite a few pm's from me!
  3. Give Lee a call if your still concerned fella Also will be with you tomorrow, just got to refit the gearbox.glad I never took my van to Vw to fix, would have cost a small fortune in labour
  4. When I took the head off I checked and concerned me so I phoned Lee.he explained that when the piston warms up it expands slightly and that's how it should be. Not sure but if I had to guess I would say maybe this is what causes piston slap in forged motors on start up.
  5. I asked Lee p about this and he said it was totally normal and to be expected
  6. In japan they often fit an oil cooler as the first modification.any car I've tinkered with I've always had one.if you drive hard it's worth getting one
  7. I'm going to do mine soon aswell, looks alot better when done
  8. Well done Scott, your motor is already lovely so going single will finish it nicely IMO
  9. I'm going ok on my new year fitness regime, was 18st 6lb,now 18st flat. Wanna lose 3st by June time.limit myself to 2000calories and do at least an hour of something strenuous every day seems to work for me
  10. I couldnt disagree more about hodgeson mate.IMO he would have restored Liverpool to past glory.given time and funds it would have happened.his peers all know what a great manager he is.when you get arsene wenger, alex ferguson and whole host of other great managers come out and criticise his sacking you know your board has made a big mistake. However that's modern day football, fans with unrealistic expectations and big money takeovers that don't invest in the team. Did you forget hodgeson took fulham to the Europa cup final? Not an easy feat surely? If Liverpool want to be great again they need 3 things- Cash injection into the squad A new stadium And most importantly, stability in a manager
  11. Sounds like it could have been a lot worst, glad your ok.as said,it is only a car and you got out ok-ish so all is well
  12. Nice one Josh,looks very clean.be careful
  13. Oh and Roy hodgeson is the LMA manager of the year.he hasn't suddenly become a bad manager.it's the players.roy didn't have a chance to put his stamp on the squad and get rid of the deadwood.
  14. A team that lacks mascerano now.carragher is past it.Torres has been injured most of the season,he wasn't last year.gerrard has lacked any quality this year.it doesn't matter who is at the helm mate, new players are needed urgently. The problem is Liverpool fans won't face the fact to be great again a team needs to be built.look at man united, they have had managerial stability for years and it's paid off.if they stop looking for a quick fix and be patient it would help alot
  15. Couldn't agree more.can't blame hodgeson for the crock of shit he inherited
  16. Your a talented guy with alot of skill mate, wish I could do half of this stuff. Keep up the good work
  17. Shame the football team can't bring us similar glory. Don't follow cricket generally but do enjoy watching the Aussies lose at the ashes
