  1. He's Lee at weekend (short for Leona) and Toby in the week.
  2. Never seen a single go for 25k without a built engine. If you get near that snap their arm off
  3. I looked into this. A good option the ratios match up near enough perfectly and a cd009 gearbox is £600-£800. I messaged a few tuners in the states and they have been putting 900hp through them but said its a gamble at that power. You also hear the gearbox failing on a lot lower powered cars too. Apparently it's quick shifting they don't like, normally 3rd.
  4. Oh, well it's for sale again as is the rest of the car if you want it. Pm me if you want the details.
  5. I spoke to his bro Pete who put me onto the guy who's it is. Him and his brother own a 1jz v161 rx7 BDC car. It did 5 events then sat there ever since. Pete Donnelly vouched for it all as he was the guy to purchase it all from the states when they were available, so it's basically a brand new box. Comes with brand new cradle, shifter and mount too. Pm me your PayPal nail I owe you a few beers bud.
  6. If I say something is appealing it doesn't mean I want it, it means it is appealing.... Manual will always be better than auto imo.
  7. It is appealing just I know I would wish I had a manual gearbox.
  8. It makes an auto with flappy paddles more appealing now.
  9. Cheeky bastards luc. Bet you were in the gym that day hitting some new records
  10. I would go with the SRD 4" I had one before I got the 5" ets. Speak to Lee.
  11. Crazy. I reckon someone will have one somewhere though.
  12. Hmm my facelift shell I bought I was told was really good condition so I paid for it without seeing it, big mistake, it was rusty as hell underneath and all worn bushes. Took it all apart and started again. Seemed strange as the pre facelift cars I've had have been all good apart from one dodgey one.
  13. I would just do what you want to do. You can always build 1000hp supra then run it on pump fuel if you want less power or run less boost. The turbos are not laggy now so that's rubbish. Also some people say you can't get traction but then they want the fastest spooling turbo and don't realise that is going to cause traction issues too if you have the money to set the car up with the best parts then why not.
  14. Looks clean. Please change that intercooler pipe off the throttle body to a 3 inch then reduce it where it isn't seen
  15. With the right suspension, diff, tyres and brakes it isn't very hard. If you lack one of those things then it becomes a different story. I didn't have the best tyres on mine and it was a challenge to say the least. You really need r888. As for 1000bhp being laggy the turbos now are spooling under 4K rpm that isn't laggy at all. Pretty much boost whenever you want it. Also the cams arnt rough at all with a decent map and a carbon clutch is not heavy at all.
  16. I would build one to 700hp as it is a lot cheaper and see how you get on. The problem is when you do such a big build like 1000hp it takes more time and money which makes it very easy to lose the love when you have 40k in parts just sitting there doing nothing. 700 was more than enough for me but I wanted to go all out this time as I won't build another again and use the best parts all round so I wouldn't ever feel the need to upgrade anything. I also wanted to feel what it's like to drive a 1000hp car not many people can say they have ever driven one let alone owned one.
  17. Our supras will end up near enough the same luc
  18. It's 105.33 I thought you were talking about the roof trim. What is this amayama? If it's genuine Toyota parts? If so how is it so cheap?
  19. 113.44 + vat each, I've ordered some a week ago
  20. Have you got about 60k+ to do it properly? If not don't bother.
