Arr noo...well i need to watch my money so il at least go and keep the supra spirit strong!! There were a few skylines last year but i was the only supra!! so got a bit of attention!

With TTC the car needs to be BPU++ and fully mapped...what you'll then see is a more linear power band as apposed to a one two transition..you can push the turbos a bit more too. All the big power BPUs in the states are running TTC mapped...and although theyre performance figures are slightly optimistic over there..ryan g has seem similar results over here...TTC bpu++s in the states have been running consistant 11s with a high stall torque convertor...theres one in germany running similar times on a 6spd.

550's arent too bad and the uk pumps are pretty good tbh but yes not ideal...unfortunately ttc mode is WAYYYY louder and if your running a stainless exhaust i bet it howls!! mines loud in sequential so i dread to think what it would be like in ttc :/

and yes watch your fuelling..440s should be ok..but your planning on staying TTC for a while id maybe knock down the boost..uprate to uk or speak to someone like SRD or 2bartuning for advice

TTC mode is only benificial is its mapped...i hear what your saying about short term...but Lee P was telling me one off the best supras he'd ever driven was in TTC and was set up and mapped by Ryan...apparently it absolutey flew!!

Yeah when i was in florida there was a guy who'd spent...wait for it...$220,000 on customising his detomaso pantera..and that didnt include buying it...some company had done a satin finish to everything with some ultra glossy pearlescent laquer..looked wet..almost like water.. Thought that was just too much.. cars like jamies (BEFORE DISECTION),hodges.ibrars etc..all looked just as good if not better..and you know are built with passion!

Ok...lamans terms...SUPRA MKIV-12 TO 18 Year old japanese muscle car..originally a tourer that just happened to be something a little bit special..straight 6,massively over engineered twin turbo. No fancy gimmics..proper engine proper car.. GTR-Nothing like the previous skyline...its a technological statement..a supercomputer on wheels...that puts more of the driving into the car as apposed to driver itself...a whole lot of car for the money. ( just a shame the lf-a wasnt in the same price range) so..in a nutshell...the GTR is a newer..faster..more refired and a technolgically superiour car to the supra...BUT You know whats great??!....the worlds fastest supra is STILL quicker than the world fastest GTR...Thats why we love the old under dog

Before i learnt to launch i always got caned from the lights come 50 onwards tho ..rolling from 60..you should kill him...unless of course its running a courtney coversion or calibra setup as mention above...

mine does the same mate..ive got alot of mods including SRD 264 CAMS n titan pullys which i know can give it a lumpy idle but im gunna get lee to check everything...like u il be replacing my exhaust..decats and downpipe

saw this being built n sorted at lee's mate..its a stunning build and i agree on what your saying about the property ladder..in this current climate we need all the money we can get no alone trying to run these supercars..end of the day do whats right for you ..no regrets...im in the same boat but whilst i can survive n keep the car i will do..i now use mine each dayto enjoy it...thats what weve paid for..and being as all the SRD built supras are being broken or sold i swore id try to keep at least on the road still..hope you can do the same mate.

im getting the same mate..feels sluggish..no smoke at oil but turbos are howling like a gt45!! its like i have to give it some welly for anything to happen but i dare not as it running really hot. ..im taking mine to srd soon.
