Arrrggh noo even I've not heard it yet myself! Lee is keeping me in suspense! ,went to see it though when he put the engine back in but ive not heard it start up yet. Lee said it went very very well lol. ....next on my list will be to strip n clean the underside , then get it undersealed,followed by sorting the body and getting a syvecs .

honest reasons for such a build?...because of the ball ache i went through getting the car and the despair i had when i realised what was actually wrong with it i decided to get it built for life...no half hearted jobbie..the mutts nuts of BPU built.I will never sell this car...and will be like clint eastwood in grand torino when im 70, sitting on my porch just staring at it !! lol. But that to one side...yeah i have got a mini mission to see what it can do once all set up

Umm with some of the custom things ive had like the refreshed head and lightened crank along with all the uprated parts and the future bits like the syvecs and meth injection kit id like to get close to the 500bhp mark at 1.4bar and race fuel (im an optismist i know!!) lol..but Ryan reckons with the car in TTC, fully mapped i could be aiming for most powerful BPU in the country (on stockers not hybrids..) if push comes to shove il upgrade to the GT28 hybrids that stu hagen has in the states as ive been in talks with him etc. He has been running 28-32 psi!! for the past two years and has got a reliable 600+bhp in sequential and TTC on them! so should i go hybrids thats my route... Thanks for the comments guys...its been an emotional 18months from realising the car had so many issues to seeing how Lee has restored it to something very special...I think Lee will agree its been a labour of love! and one that undoubtably will change and get better and better over time... As for those who mention going single...yup its certainly built for it but im staying with the twins, that was my aim and theres a dwindling amount of us TT guys kicking around as the single revolution is growing so im keeping it real! and Representing BPU++++ baby!!!!!

Ok Guys big Finale pics now with full Spec!! Block Honed balanced, decked and cleaned. New Pistons, conrods, rings. ARP Hardware throughout. New Seals and Gaskets throughout Head reworked and upgraded. SRD 264 Cams Titan Cam Pullys New Crankshaft, lightened and balanced to SRD spec New Crank Pully Whiftbitz Lightened pullys New Oil Pump New Water Pump New Oil Filters New Fuel Filters Whifbitz Upgraded Braided Fuel Line. (removes pulsation dampner) Cleaned and corrected Injectors TRD Thermostat Turbo Manifold skimmed Intake manifold skimmed SRD Alloys rad SRD Twin Electric Fans SRD Cooling Plate SRD Oil Cooler for Auto Box New Frnt cross memeber welded in and engine bay cleaned!!! Blitz intercooler Blitz Nur spec R (soon be replace by whiftbitz titainum 4") Apexi SAFC II (going to syvecs soon) Apexi AVCR (going to syvecs) plus other goodies!! Future bits...going to syvecs, with a water/meth injection kit and AEM AFR, possibly mapped in TTC with Race Fuel and a 3200 high stall torque convertor!!

I know the piping you mean lude! looks similar but it was the same stuff and besides..It didnt have an oil catch tank!! and was in place of the standard black toyota hosing, Lee stated the oil had eaten through the pipe!

Top marks to Lee for re-assembling it!! all shiney too! [ATTACH=CONFIG]146940[/ATTACH] coming together [ATTACH=CONFIG]146941[/ATTACH] Intake plenum manifold skimmed and polished, lower runner all cleaned, skimmed, new gaskets fittled.

Yes i did inspect the car, it smoked a bit and dint pull as well as my previous j-spec but apparently the valve stem seals needed replacing so i put it down to that..that and being a well known members car i thought i was still on to a good thing! anyway moving on...lol [ATTACH=CONFIG]146934[/ATTACH] NEW SRD 264 CAMS FITTED !! [ATTACH=CONFIG]146935[/ATTACH] Titan Cam Pullys [ATTACH=CONFIG]146936[/ATTACH] Injectors cleaned and the correct insulator rings fitted [ATTACH=CONFIG]146937[/ATTACH] Cam covers polished

Assembly started.. Water neck pipe fitted [ATTACH=CONFIG]146931[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=CONFIG]146932[/ATTACH] Turbos cleaned up, new gaskets and skimmed manifold...inspected and no play in shafts!!!

Id taken a 10k loan out to buy it so cutting my losses and getting another wasnt really an option...was stuck between a rock and a hard place for ages but i just the plunge as they say and it now looks like this... Head removed and completely overhauled and reworked Block, decked, rehoned, balanced and cleaned up New Crankshaft Balanced and lightened

Plus lots more folks!
