  6. Hang on..hes running how much bhp?? And only got a 13.1 quarter mile? Theres well spec'd bpu auto supras get 11's on drag radials and i got a 13.02 at shakespeare..so in all fairness hes either a shit driver or his merchandise isnt up to scratch.
  7. Welcome to the gs300/TTE Club mate they look great! Cant wait to see them on your car!
  8. yeah im guna aim for a 12.??? And see how i do. Im only pushing 1.2bar with my AFR's in the 11's so nice and safe for now...up the boost and redo the fuelling once i know what it can do at present
  9. stu hagen in the states is running 11s all day long but his hybrids n setup is way beyond bpu.Theres a few bpu's in the club running fast times on stock twins so its possible! Im hoping for a good time on my mega spec'd bpu at the pod in july but i think GTR times are pushing it lol.
  10. Syvecs launch control and some nitrous would be interesting though...
  11. I wouldnt waste your petrol..the GTR will cane you. Its basically one big computer that can deliver its 500+bhp very quickly and efficiently..each and every time through its 4wd. The supra is old technology...awesome none the less but where as we have to launch right..watch slippage...gear changes...traction etc.. The GTR basically does it for you. for a supra to indeed woop or pull away from one id say it needs to be a very responsive 650+bhp...ideally 800bhp...or for a walk in the park just borrow jamie p's

    turbo refurbish

CR are very good and will do custom jobs like enlarging wastegate, porting etc..and will build to whatever spec you want. At least on paper anyway the main fault with the stock system isnt the turbos but the restrictiveness of the pipework and mainifold etc. Too much and it chokes..the tubbies heat up and fail due to twisted shafts..broken blades..oil starvation. other than stu hagen in the states whose running a pair of gt28 hybrids at 32psi!!! And has been for two years now with no issues i dont know anyone who swares by hybrids in this country but stu opened up the pipework too..got a custom manifold..1000cc injectors..relocated the air intake to by the intercooler and runs race full etc.(full bpu and vipec ecu). Hes made over 600bhp and over 500ftlbs of torque...with 11sec quarters on road tyres...on 3 different dynos...although it is america lol .its still impressive!
  13. liking that mate...what filter is that? Has the MAF been removed?
  14. ("So, I've a new modification going on next week. Not performance enhancing.") A GT-R badge?
  15. Thanks guys. will have to put the BL box on hold for now as i need a new set of tyres! Thanks for the link though..il take a peek.
  16. Now no ones more shocked and surprised than me...i originally saw micheals car at a show a few years back and yes it was stunning which why when it came up for sale i jumped at the chance to buy. 8500 for a uk spec with 115k on the clock i consider alot of money..but being the car it was with the recommendation of several people and a full service history i thought i was on to a winner...now i wasnt expecting any of the problems ive had but i may i add ive been honest and open on here and instead of getting bitter and twisted about it all ive mearly shared my experience and the massive help ive had from SRD in getting the car good again.each week im out cleaning..polishing every inch n detailing the engine..i look after my car with with upmost respect...and wouldnt have just forked a fortune on it if i didnt.
