I was a bit surprised, full NCB, no points, didn't require track insurance etc. I thought maybe my valuation was a little high or maybe most of it was to do with it being in an allocated parking bay.

Had a call back from Reis, sent them details of the car (BPU TT Auto now), list of all mods and work (invoices), 8 photos and a value of £35,000 as a starting point. They said they had a look across all of their policies and didn't have a policy that fit. One of the issues was that it was stored in an allocated parking bay and not a private drive. Another issue was the power at BPU and another being the value was too high. I'll probably try Adrian Flux next.

My insurance is coming up for renewal and I'm looking at agreed value with Reis. It's a stock (more or less...) UK Spec Auto. Does anyone know how accurate the for sale ad examples need to be? Or have any decent ones to hand? I can't find any UK specs for sale or sold really. And do the 6 photos need to include any specific parts of the car?

Does anyone have or know where I can get a boot hinge? Either second hand or new. I only need one but would be happy to take a pair. If anyone knows a part number and where to get hold of one that would be awesome. I can't seem to find much information about them online. Cheers!

I also agree with this. I don't use mine nearly as much due to public transport being so good and parking being so bad where I work now. But when I do get the opportunity to give it a good run on the weekends I love it more than ever.

Waiting for the bus and stopped at lights across from me. I shouted like an excited child when I looked up and noticed it was a supra Looked great in the sun!

My UK is still stock apart from the coilovers. I do plan on going BPU eventually though, I'll get around to it eventually.

I can only echo this really. I had mine done around 6 years ago when I was 21. I was also short sighted and had always worn glasses. It was like seeing everything in HD after I had it done, some of the best money you can spend in my opinion. I was told my eyesight would start to degenerate again and around 40ish I may need reading glasses but that's not biggy to have perfect eyesight during my 20s/30s. One of my eyes which was always "lazier than the other" has started to get a little worse but only noticeable when I close my left eye. I didn't feel unsafe or uncomfortable at all while having it done really. Due to my age I'm not sure how helpful this is to you, but it's massively improved my quality of life not having to think about putting contacts in every day or having to wear glasses all the time.

Yeah you could look on eBay, might be much cheaper if you don't mind something second hand.

PC World or Curries will be overpriced. Check Amazon when you know what you want, their prices usually beat everyone.

Pretty nice and original colour that. The purple would stand out for sure but it's not completely unique.
