1. I was hoping a few of the knowledgeable people could come on and expand on some theroies about hybrid setup's in general. It is my understanding that the Speed4sale kit is a direct replacement and will run in the same way as the standard setup. Is this correct?
2. Any updates on this mate, Looking at Hybrid's myself as the next project and wonder how the Speed4sale kit has worked out for you Cheers Jon
3. Quick question guys I have Recaro SPG's in standard size and want to get some alloy side mounts but all the ones I have looked at say that the alloy ones only fit the SPG XL Would these still fit the standard SPG? http://www.nickygrist.com/recaro-aluminium-seat-mount-988-p.asp http://www.design911.co.uk/fu/prod8066/RECARO-Steel-Sidemount--FiA-_2 http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Product.do?method=view&n=1763&g=0&p=13664&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Base&utm_campaign=Motorsport Thanks Jon
4. I sometimes see a red Supra on the a281 on my way home from Crawley to Guildford, must be yourself Girlracer. Looking good, is it lowered? Haven't seen you yet Slugger, will keep an eye out.
5. I'm going at the end of August. Staying at the Ringhaus Bricking it a bit if I'm honest. Hope you have a great time jon
6. Are the other 2 R35's that have failed high profile builds. ie is the failure well documented on the internet?
7. This is so weird, I live in Guildford and haven't seen a Supra for ages. I work in Crawley and there are loads of them!
8. If you can pass Sabine Schmitz on the ring in a GT3, I will personally give you 15 of the finest british pounds ! lol If that's not an incentive, I don't know what is....
9. It was a pleasure to be in Jurgen's car a few months ago when I was picking my car up, and although it still had the revs limited, you could feel the car wanting to be let loose to rip up the tarmac. Awesome, Awesome machine and a credit to Jurgen and his lads. As has been said, hopefully JUN will help out. I for one am proud to have the JM Imports badge on my car, and you couldn't ask for a more 'dead on' fella than Jurgen to do business with. So chin up mate, might not be as bad as it seems now Jon
10. What is the problem if some beautiful women come along and show pictures of themselves in Supra's ? It looks good ! end of
11. any more pics of Supras with rear seats taken out? Is it just a case of folding the existing boot carpet down to make it look tidy?
12. Can these be used to fit Recaro SPG's in place of the standard j-spec seats? Would extra holes need to be drilled in the car or do these bolt up to where the standard seats do? Thanks Jon
13. Nice one mate, polished my wheels yesterday with some help from from my good friend Stella ! Although it got a bit messy when my other friend Jack Daniels came round
14. Hi Guys, Have the standard springs that were taken off my Supra when it arrived at JM Imports They have done 55k and are in excellent condition with no rust £60 posted Can be collected form GU4 8EU if desired Cheers Jon
15. I'm having exactly the same problem. Any ideas on what to try next mate? Resetting the ECU?
16. Thanks mate, Paid membership mmmmm.... did I really write that bit !!!
17. Thanks for the info chaps, Wish I could get a private garage or lock-up somewhere but not sure where to look. The council garages are really tight and sooner or later I can see me damaging the car getting it in and out. Think I'll go with to big locks each side of teh door. Just a thought - If you take out the lead from the coil to the battery then at least his prevents it being started. Although don't want people getting access in the first place. If anybody has a garage, lock-up, barn etc. I will gladly pay the going rate Thanks Jon
18. Right lads, I have my Supra locked up in a standard rented council garage and the other day I spotted one of the other garage doors in the row had been pulled up at the corner, obviously an attemped break in. So I want to ramp up security a bit. Was thinking of putting two huge locks at each side of the door then I spotted this - http://www.autolok.co.uk/Pages/garage.htm Looks a bit of a pain to install though but probably quite strong Any other ideas? Thanks Jon
19. Nsx's are already getting more expensive than a few years ago. If you want the ultra rare NA1 NSX-R, then be prepared to part with £60-70k !!
20. TO the OP, My car came with Advan sports from Japan, they were very noisy at speed and felt like they were filled with cement instead of air! Just put on some Toyo T1 Sport but just scrubbing them in Jon
