  1. Bump You can use these to mount ANY aftermarket seat in a Supra with maximum weight saving
  2. Forgot to say - more info on these at the top of the for sale section in the group buy bit http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?249192-Low-Mount-Custom-seat-frames
  3. Hi, I have these seat mounts for sale as I'm no longer putting aftermarket seats in, they are standard size in alloy and have not been used Can be collected from Guildford £100 Cheers Jon 07891 736686
  4. Yeah. Do the wheels have to be on the ground?
  5. Nice one mate, Just back from a trip Did the Col du Turini, San Bernadino, Stelvio and the ring. Addicted to the ring now but it's a lot of punishment to put on the car Hope you enjoyed it mate
  6. Sorry guys, I would have made it but just split up with the missus this week so been a bit hectic. Will definetly make it next month
  7. Just a quick one to say thanks to the lads at AFR tuning for sorting my Supra this morning. Really knowledgeable chaps they are Went in for what I thought was a sticky caliper - turned out to be me driving like miss daisy and not heating up the brakes enough! They had become glazed, as the car only gets used the odd time. So with no work on the brakes to do, the ride height front and rear was altered and the stiffness on the dampers was set a touch softer. The lads also had a look round the car, and I think were pleased about it's overall condition (tip of the hat to Jurgen), good to get peace of mind that there is nothing that needs doing now. Will be back for BPU in a few weeks Thanks again Jon
  8. Are Sundays a definite no no for people? Just thinking it might free people up from work commitments, I work Saturdays and don't get back till quite late usually.
  9. Hi Guys, Going on a European road trip at the end of the month which is going to be about 2000 miles in all. Just a bit worried about getting stonechips all over the front on the car as there is not a mark on it as it stands. Can't get a car bra ordered from America in time so thinking of drastic solutions. Like maybe a load of tape over the bumper/leading edges:blink: Would this harm the paint? Cheers Jon
  10. Count me in Ripley sounds like a good idea, hopefully not too many chavs there
  11. Ok then, you want some cringe? Two peanuts walking down the road One was assaulted
  12. Is that due to your suspension setup or are Supra's quite easy to slide? Obviously a wee bit of skill as well;)
  13. Two ariels got married Wedding was rubbish Reception was good though Sorry:taped:
  14. Can't believe that, I've just got my Supra and feel that it's quite a nippy car, controlling wheelspin at 140mph must be interesting though - Have you ever got into any situations where you've almost stacked it? Congratulations on the power anyway and you're a complete mad man, would love to experience that kind of power sometime
  15. Supramanuk - You want to start a new thread on the same subject to make further searches even more confusing? That's not the way forums are supposed to work - it is advised that you continue an older thread so that all the information on a specific subject is in the same place. AND It is commonly known that raising boost pressure will generate more heat, it has nothing directly to do with restrictions in the cats. The heat comes from the increased rpm that the turbo is running to create more boost pressure. I was wanting to know specifically what parts of the engine would be getting hotter if any, and if the increased heat could damage anything Btw, the very act of removing the second cat WILL up the boost all by itself Check the fundamentals of turbocharging SO, to the original question - Will taking out only the second CAT damage the engine?
  16. Canislupis, what things will get hot if you only take the second cat out and what damage could be caused? Trying to get a definitive answer to this thread...... I've been told by lee p that it's ok and am inclined to respect his opinion on this
  17. So what were saying is that you can put the second decat in leaving the first cat in place and you will not do any damage or melt anything?
  18. With the 2nd decat pipe - Could you stick it on a standard Supra on it's own and gain a bit of power without damaging anything?
  19. Hang on a minute, I've just realised that all I use the internet for is forums and porn
  20. Yeah the 281 is really bad for traffic, especially if you get caught behind a lorry. Best time to attack it is 2 in the morning. Guildford meet sounds good, any ideas for a location? Was going to suggest Burgerking at Ladymead but every time I've been down there it's full of Barryboys with chavved up corsa's on 20's innit !
  21. Would you louts take this unpleasentness into 'off topic' Boxing eh, what's wrong with a game of 'paper scissors stone' to sort out a disagreement between gentlemen?
  22. So what are we saying are the limiting factors of this setup? Would you say 1.4 bar is the max boost even with these stronger turbos and that there is no point raising the boost further? Standard Manifold not flowing enough? EGT's too high? Anything else?
