  1. Any more suggestions on this chaps? im looking for wheels now but dont want to do the rotas as theyve been done to death on jap cars
  2. Hi, I'm looking at getting some Tein lowering springs to go on my Supra with the standard shocks which are at 56k miles. I've noticed that they lower the car 36mm at the front and 42mm at the rear. Is this too low for the standard shocks to handle and will it affect the handling in a negitave way? Don't mind it being stiff but don't want it to be bouncy and skittish
  3. Yes mate, Teg has gone and Supra will be here end of April! Can't wait !!!! Was just looking for someone to confirm my suspicions about the driveshaft
  4. Hi, I've got an issue with my old 106. I'm getting a severe knocking noise from the front when I'm turning right whilst under power. If I let the power off whilst still in the turn, the noise disappears. I'm guessing NS CV joint Does this sound right Thanks Jon
  5. Thanks for the input guys, I think I might keep it now if it looks okay in person, I've only got these pics to go on Oh, and the walnut trim is coming off, it's bloody awful imo
  6. Hi guys, I apologise if this is a silly question or been covered but searched and nothing came up. I've got a Supra coming from Japan and this steering wheel is on it, have been advised that it is quite rare/sought after. Seen the black carbon fibre but this one has a sort of Kevlar/brown look about it. Any ideas on value? Thanks Jon
  7. So are we saying that you can only notice worn mounts on auto or tip cars? What about manual vvti's?
  8. Sorry for mate, Three weeks ago I had my Integra Type R hit by a bus from behind so I'm going through the same scenario at the moment. Car was mint, had spent £2.5k the last 9 months since I got it making it absolutly perfect - new bushes, engine mounts, shocks, etc, it was getting close to perfect:eyebrows: Anyway, your insurance will not get involved at all unless you claim on it, I just rang mine to let them know and keep everything straight. The thing to do is claim on her insurance, If the accident is not your fault (which it isn't) you will not have to pay a penny or lose any no claims. What happens then is that you get an accessor come out and value the damage - i've had two out because I've employed an accident management company for personal injury reasons etc. The accessors only look at the damage and are not generally interested in whats modified on the car, I had a DC Sports manifold on mine and he didn't even notice. He will then submit his findings to her insurance company and they will then arrange pickup of your car and give you a courtesy car while yours is fixed.
