  1. Hey folks.. I have a set of 5 BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tyres to sell. They are part worn, having covered around 5000 miles (the spare has never been used!!)..a somewhat negligible amount on these legendarily long lasting tyres!! Derived from the original BF Goodrich All-Terrain, from which all other All-Terrain patterns evolved, the All-Terrain T/A KO is the best you can get. Put it on and forget about it no matter where you intend to go. Their mileage potential is legendary and these tyres are extremely durable, especially with the ‘TriGuard’ 3-ply sidewall. Many people run them because of their massive mileage potential and their reputation for great road manners, despite their off-road pedigree. Size is 265/75R16 I believe they are a fairly standard size on vehicles like the Pajero/Shogun etc. Though I had them fitted to my modded Discovery CLICK4PIC (and you'll need the mods to make them fit) Will have to be buyer pick up only though I'm afraid... Giving you folks 1st option before I pop them on ebay Please, PM me if you have any questions..or offers Thanks for reading...
  2. ..same ol' story, technology is great..when it works!! Yep..PS3 owner too.. lol
  3. Used NOD32 for a while..switched to their 'Smart Security Suit' when they brought it out..never had a single problem in 5+ years..good for gaming too (when I used too..) As previously mentioned..vigilance and just being careful help so much too.
  4. NIGHTMARE...! Good luck with that... did you have your credit card linked to it also? Time to cancel if you did buddy.. Do you game share..? Seems damn unlucky for someone to just guess your password if not..
  5. ..look at other makes in your price range too. I was set on Samsung..until i compared it to a Sony and Panasonic, I ended up with a Panasonic.
  6. ... I did a job for a CofE vicar a good few years ago, I'm in the building trade.. inevitably this subject came up during the course of the weeks i worked for him... I'll never forget his words on the matter... from a man of the cloth..he just said.. 'tbh.. i think what ever you believe will happen to you when you die, is what will probably happen'. I figure.. the whole universe is made out of the same stuff that originated from the big bang (if you believe that theory).. just glued together in different ways..in very basic terms. Maybe there's some big melting pot as an 'afterlife'? Also why one of my favourite sayings is... We are all stardust Personally.. long as i can remember.. losing loved ones, be they friends, relatives or pets.. i have always just thought to myself..(or whispered to the pet in the situation).. see you again some day.. without thought, that's the way i have always seen it. EDIT: Read a fictional book once, one of Clive Barkers... the book was about many things but a crux was that Religion was created to cover up and distract from another matter (it was fiction but the theory was interesting)... Religion has been and still remains a cause for many wars...
  7. ..I noticed a GE icon appeared on my desktop also.. I'm 99% sure i have the google auto updater service stopped Has to be alien intervention imo

    surround sound

lol..cool. (Don't like Samsungs tho lol) I know Plilips used the 'Ambilight' tech and it worked well.. I guess that's where my bud got the idea..

    surround sound

.. a nice idea i saw in a new build house i worked in a whiles back, where the tv was gonna be mounted there was a length of down pipe (gutter pipe) mounted into the wall so all the wires were out of sight but, also left plenty of opportunity for future changes. This was set on a chimney breast wall where the amps etc etc were gonna be in the alcove to one side... Another nice idea i saw round my mates gaff.. as per the false wall idea above..leave enough room to run a led rope light around the edge and this creates a form of back light for the screen.. surprisingly this improves the blacks no end!! Of course this means not having a full entire false wall..just a panel that is larger than the tv. Eventually, when i get round to the false wall set up.. i will be doing this too. just a couple of thoughts
  11. ...an old favourite DuEtP4QYiu4 ..currently, I cant get enough of this zHs5jWe7my0 .. if i really need cheering up and a laugh.. it's Steel Panther but, I won't post a video as most of the lyrics are..well.. explicit but funny. Dont wanna get the thread moved..if you wanna check em out click
  12. ..got mine yesterday... thanks
  13. I have a Panasonic 32 lcd... blah blah i forget the specs..its a 720p one For me.. well, within my price ranges, there are only 2... Sony or Panasonic. Of comparable prices.. I have seen many other makes round various friends homes..and I never feel they are as good as my Panny..
  14. ..sure, i get times when I think a cheaper to run car would give me cash to spend elsewhere. Just owning one, driving one, the looks you get as they are pretty rare..I love it. Reliability..For me, just anything you would expect from a 16yr old motor..wear and tear. Just the wear and tear items on a Soop cost more than a 16yr old Ford, for example..imo I run my own business too, in the building trade.. just having a van for work and economy (ahhh business diesel lol)... my advice, as it applied to me when I thought to buy mine.. go for it.. if you keep her a year and sell her.. at least you will have owned one. I second that... It just depends what you are used to previously... an N/A is fast though she ain't the quickest thing on the road.. but it is a Supra!!

    wa**ers!

I am!! I never leave her anywhere I don't like the sound of...the work van gets a special outing those times lol It is a shocker that people just don't give a **** about it tho. My bud caught a young lad stealing the valve caps off his STi a whiles back..big mistake..the lad did look quite funny as the wheel rim left a dent in his head though!
  16. ..do SAFARI make a snorkel for a Supra? Maybe a spare wing fitted with a home made snorkel, gum up everything else with a few tubes of silicone sealant for the tricky 'winter' months...? lol
  17. ..I'm in the TomTom camp now too. Works well and easy to use..pop the Homer Simpson voice on it..makes me lol!!! I have a lower end IQ routes model. Have a bud with a higher end Garmin and he rates it also. EDIT: I did all this before i bought my TomTom..popped the TT sofware on..and it was the biggest reason to buy the real thing... it did work/does work... for me though it really wasn't successful and seemed very 'glitchy' (rapidly reset everything and got my money back)

    Supra Vs Ferrari

Never desired to own a Ferrari.. However, I have wanted a Supra for a long time, I'm well happy.. Though.. Given a Ferrari for nowt.. I would take it..sell it and buy something I really wanted and enjoy all the cash I had left over
  19. ..ditto 300miles+/- to the tank..in a manual. That actually seems a constant, whether I'm just doing my usual around here.. or recently when I took her to Wales and back which is a 600+mile round trip for me (and I never saw another Soop the whole time). Around 25mpg Interesting to read on the Lambda sensors tho if things start to change..always learning stuff on here

    PS3 repairs

..okies.. as I'm lazing at home.. i just got a reply off the guy.. semi informative.. He said he did the youtube search for 'yellow light of death how to fix' and followed that... but said to be aware it is only a temporary fix and after doing his 4 times he got a new one. Ditto.. curious to how you get on and the consumer rights thing...

..ok buddy, i'll drop him a message to see what he had to repair...I'll post it up when he replies (it's no bother..happy to help) Er.. as far as i know.. you have to put the original HDD back in when it goes to Sony.. so good luck on that!
