So..happy that the window is staying up just for the weekend.. My bud @ Toyota and I discovered the part you need to order is simply the 'regulator' this will comprise of all that you need bar the motor and the housing. This will be getting fitted in a day or so.. Thanks to those that mentioned the 'kit'.. we were lookin for individual parts.

mmm ok.. I can't believe quantum physics could even be as fiddly as that little task!! Anyways.. managed to get the window up and car usable again..but the cable suffered for its efforts so really need one now Not really trusting it to do its sworn duty any more...

Cool thanks merckx, I'll have a play this morning and see what comes to light. The cable did fray, i trimmed it up and it will be ok for a while... curiosity.. where did you source your new cables, cos the time will come... I'm thinkin a winter job..just wanna get her back up and running..

Hey folks.. the part on the window that the cable attaches too has gone pop.. has anyone had this and devised a method of fixing it? Devised a way of clamping the cable in somehow etc... The regulator et al are all fine..just this one ickle bit of broken plastic means im ridin Bandit style (without the option anyways lol) My bud at Toyota is also lookin into it also, so just thought i'd ask.. as seldom are we the 1st to have a problem.. Thanks..

..if you were happy with your car before you read these derogatory comments.. just ignore them. It's easy to be a sheep and go with the consensus.. just do what you feel is right. Ignoring peer pressure is a fine art and one well worth learning.. Apologies if this is a reiteration of someone else, i just scanned the thread ..that reason is why I bought a soop, when others just said..omg, why don't you ever just buy a normal (?) car?! pffft lol

Hi.. Mines a manual N/A and i love her..though I would deffo suggest trying both manual and auto, especially if Guernsey involves a lot of stop start. Auto is nice and does not deserve all the slander they get... Good luck

for me.. the soop has it, the long bonnet..gorgeous curves..low, long and fast, of course I'm biased.. 2nd.. the new GT-R. The others don't really crank my tractor tbh Lovely soop tho, i bet it feels good to see it in print?!!

..my tv, a panasonic, auto detects the input and changes the res to suit I have no option to change it manually... I have only found that option for the input devices.. HDD recorder/PS3 n the like...

..I'm no expert but when I bought mine they said football was one of the tests of a good lcd.. 50hz sets struggled. I got a 100hz set, now i see they make 600hz sets. I have seen pixelation around moving people on my buds tv.. maybe your problem relates, like the processor trying to keep up? Hmm not very helpful really...am i still talkin?
