  1. Cheers mate. I'll post finished pics when they are done Yeah something I'll look into but to be honest the way it's going it will be in shows more than on a track.
  2. Well I am awaiting carbon parts from Stevo, who is a master at this but I thought I would try and attempt some parts for myself. I won't be offering this as a service as respect for Stevo offering it already. I Have started by doing rear speaker covers and steering wheel cover. It's a painstakingly slow and patient process and my finger tips are bleeding. The parts still need clear coating but here are some pics of my progress for anyone who is following the build. Drilling the holes out was a nightmare lol I'll keep you posted when they are all finished
  3. Been rubbing down the rollcage, tein rear brace and supports, so they can all be primed this morning. Everything will be on show over the carpet so top job needs to be done.
  4. Been out today but got a nice picture message from my dad showing off his efforts today lol. Handle trimmed up in cream. Does anyone know where the best place to get speaker fabric from?
  5. It's my old car I built after the gold rush! Just something to use as I needed a car and used a few parts off the gold rush. Just never felt like it was mine and kept missing the old supra.... Hence why I'm building a new supra the way I want and be involved more. Great result
  6. Was a great we built car just wasn't a bit of me. Went like stink
  7. Cheers guys. Just going to see how it's all comes out in the end. Very time consuming but so far it we are happy with what we have done. Should have some more decent updates next week.
  8. The idea is to throw it around a track and into shows. Just enjoying building another one and time is on ours side as we are taking our time and building it how we want
  9. Well after getting some ludicrously ridiculous quotes to have the car fully trimmed, we decided to buy some tan & cream leather Hyde and give it a go ourselfs. Managed to get a door card done in tan but need to trim the door handle in cream, so excuse the black one placed for pics. Dressed to kill!!
  10. Yeah pretty much covered the whole build in my head but we both know things and ideas change along the way.
  11. didnt plan on it mate. they do look nice all tucked and smooth though. supra 1-0 mitchell
  12. Facelift rear lights would look better on this build against the green too. Car looks gorgeous
  13. Well that was a absolute mission!! Cup of tea for the team I think
  14. SRD3000GT sounds miles better and also represents lee and the teams efforts in building a perfect car
  15. Just complete engine and loom mate. Don't need intake or turbo side really but need all the other ancillarys
  16. Spent some of the afternoon stripping out the rollcage so I can get all the trim ready for leather and this also allows us to strip and paint the cage. I mirror polished the nearside tension bar of the cage and its fixing brackets. I have the offside left to do. I'll bubble wrap these and store away till ready to fit again. Clay will be supplying us with all new fixings for the cage.
  17. Picked up a OCD centre timing belt cover for the build. Managed to get the engine bay degreased and washed off ready for the smooth engine bay look. I wasn't going to go to the lengths of a smooth tucked bay but after seeing kaans epic build at a meet I think I best to stand a chance. So here it goes..... Stay tuned
  18. Yeah need to know this also before we splash out. Very interested
  19. No lol non of them colours mate. Rose gold will go with any colour really. I'm growing up so the colour won't be in your face.
