    Lol I done them and the steering wheel. Stevo done all the other parts and my future parts. I just used up the materials I had in the workshop.

    Well pretty productive day today. Got a lot of the loom tidied up under the dash. Clear coated the carbon steering wheel cover and speaker covers again as I wasn't happy too much. Also Stevo the genius skinner got some dash vents finished. These will look nice against the tan leather and keep with the theme for the inside and body of the car.

    Look polished to me. Also is that oil cap supra fitment? I recommend getting those baffles drilled out if they have been stripped, polished, cleaned, dipped in chrome... All sorts of dirt and muck within them covers. Glws

    Anyone had any good results using plasti-dip? I want to refurb the dash panels but want to keep it sort of stock looking and I see this stuff is like a spray on rubber?? Anyone used this product or similar

    No worries I'll keep you posted. I know i remember though looking at Jamie's, hodges, Wayne's do-luck build thinking i want to one day be at that stage lol. I never thought I would build another one but one thing for sure is I have a lot more patience and things just need to be right... No rush. Haha buzzing off the glue mate. Working in the loft so not much ventilation. Fingers still sore from the carbon skinning. Body is just sat in primer still Matt, been really busy at work with bodywork so supra gets put on pause lol.

    It's Kevlar! I have a big sheet in the garage and cost me a fortune from Nur motorsport. Nice! I was actually going to make my own FMIC covers out of it just like this.

    Managed to get a little peice of the dash done tonight. The part goes around the gear stick plastic. undecided what colour to do the dash plastics yet. I'm thinking Matt black or Matt anthercite And yes they are moo cow scissors, a must when working with leather

    Bit of supra surgery! Dash removed for leather trim. Also gives me chance to put back a new loom ect, hate seeing things all cut! Has to go back as near as factory as possible. I did want to keep it as much UK spec as possible but I will be fitting a Jspec dash as I think it looks silly having a disconnected airbag in the dash when you have a monsterous rollcage surrounding you lol. Plus I like storage and the Extra compartment comes in handy.

    No not at the moment mate. Its a first for us too so just learning and taking our time getting it perfect. its very time consuming

    Just a tin of high temp contact glue, got it off eBay john, apparently the trade use it for interiors... Works really good, too good really but a spray would be better imo using various rollers to smooth out the leather once its applied to the panel..

    Today's efforts, moving back on the leather interior. Managed to get the offside window panel done. Was a absolute nightmare but happy with the outcome.

    Speaker covers and steering wheel cover finished and clear coated. Should get some more of the interior trimming done tomorrow. Idea is to get the inside perfect and get the rolling shell as perfect as we can before moving onto the heart (engine)
