  1. I have been toying with the Idea of going with a Big Brake Kit recently, and I like the look and the feedback i have received about the Brembo Mono-blocks. My question though is with regards to the ABS system already installed on my Supra, would I still be running ABS with this larger set-up, or would the ABS be disabled?
  2. The sunlight just makes this colour pop, very much feeling the RG's on this one Mark and those seats ain't half been longing to be mounted
  3. Word! Church! only if you fit one of those laggy old school T88 Turbo's you would be better off fitting an elevator in each bore money saving tip, run your AC through to your air-inlet. Ask any racer, any real racer...............
  4. This was the reason for my sarcasm, I don't wanna knock an enthusiastic young man, I mean look how young C.Bailey pulled through . But I do worry about this chap
  5. easy calculation for this one, you take the Ltr of car Supra = 3.0 multiply that by the psi you will run on that turbo, then multiply that figure again by the number of cylinders. So for the Supra : 3.0 x 35psi x 6 cylinders = 630bhp
  6. Well if JM draws a complete blank on your Box then i have a spare
  7. I think thats very strong money for a W58 N/A buddy, looks nice but I reckon its probably £1.5-£2k over priced, IMO

    What a mess!

How many classifieds ads do you see with underside shots?, some one will buy it after some tidying up. You would be surprised how many dealers re-under seal over rusted areas. None on the forums before anyone asks

The people who are provisional will be getting back this coming week, but thus far there are 5 confirmed, this Marcus will be good, that's 6, I am updating Liam as his computer is shot, he looks like 7, so that will be seven. And the rest as I said will be confirming either way, a lot of the Scottish lads have not been online recently, so obviously it is something they need to check and confirm ya big fairy!

List Updated on post 1, looks like this is turning out to be an event we can be proud of
  11. £492 the last set I bought also
  12. No Knock detected , I guess this is a decision that JB would have to make, it's something that has been considered between the group members I enrolled. To be honest Scott, after seeing your camera crane thingy and the work you did at the Anniversary meet, It would be awesome to have you capture such an event .
  13. Perhaps they should join the PriusOC , last time I checked it still cost Scots members a lot of money in fuel to attend meets south of the border, yet we still try to attend. This has been discussed buddy and the three week notice is a lot better than the 1 week notice we were down too, as I mentioned this was a rescue attempt and I took the responsibility I was given, and shared it out with a very capable team. We have managed in a week to sort out a route, places to stay and refreshments/entertainment, plus a very unique location for CJ's remembrance. The route is infinitely more interesting than the original, but that comes from using the experience of a local member like Tony who has driven these roads in convoys regularly. It's hard to map out a route without ever seeing the roads you are plotting. CJ's DragonCol will still happen, the chap deserved it.
  14. These Boxes are very well made and I'm guessing the components are going to be priced accordingly. It's always a risk buying something like this second hand but I guess all the track work your box was subjected to might have caused more wear than a road car box. I went for a brand new box rather than a second hand one mate, it cost more but I know it will be solid for years to come. Chris should hopefully get you sorted
  15. I'd ask Chris Wilson, I'm sure he will know the right place to contact

Hi People, this is for all the Scots members who have not seen the thread in the Supra Chat section. Linky below: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?297395-!!!-DragonCol-2013-quot-Official-Routes-and-Booking-quot-!!! Forgetting all the hotel booking business and getting down to business, it looks as though all the members from across the border are unable to all attend. I am asking any Scottish members to look into their schedules and see if they can make, this event is in the memory of a really good member who lost his life to Cancer, and in return we are going to celebrate his life with a drive in his honour. The route has been created and plotted on the Map, so please try your level best to get the time to treat yourself and your Supra to an Epic day. This event if its a success will be the foundation for more involved and awesome road trips and meets to come in the year to follow. 1. SPG (confirmed) 2. TonyTT (confirmed) 3. RossC (confirmed) 4. Marcus GTE (provisionally) 5. Calzo (confirmed) 6. Kraig (Confirmed) 7. Raz (meeting at Breahead) 8. Westcoaster (confirmed) 9. Liamsy (Confirmed/ meeting during the route) 10. Hassan (Provisionally) 11. That_Supra_guy (provisionally) 12. Fordy (confirmed) Chaps as you a know, this event was created in memory of ColinJones (CJ), who lost his life to Cancer last August. During the meet if anyone would like to make a small donation for CJ's chosen Charity, the this would be awesome, if you would rather do it online, then please visit CJ's just giving page , link below. http://www.justgiving.com/Sunny-Gautam
