Did RobD take the Lambda Sensors in the end?

Erm how much do you want? My cars running like crap at the mo' so if they're good, I'll be selling them on or sending them back and getting some brand new'uns. But I'd just like to have a go on some known good ones to see if they're my issue... Not really sure what's fair money, but I'm willing to pay it!

Any chance I can buy/borrow the Lambda sensors for a test? Ta!

Won't be an insurance job, the body'll get crushed the rest of it'll be flogged - probably stolen for its engine. I'd recommend they get any serial numbers they might have up online. Things like ECUs will be easiest to find, if they've got original packaging. Guys, just watch what you buy. You buy stolen goods today, someone else will be buying bits stolen from you tomorrow.

They'll be good for circuit use. And you can drive in straight lines on them, if you want, too. But bends are where fun is: anyone can drive straight.

Originally I had a deadish spot at constant throttle for maybe two or three days. Then suddenly went from grumpy to terminal. Have had all the lines on ant off - most seem to be airtightish, and removing those downstream of the throttle only improves running. Will try the ECU codes tomorrow, cheers!

Done it. it's just a feel thing. Works in every car, and the shift point is not always consistent between gears. It's not fantastically exciting but it works. Only point is to piss about, you'll get far quicker shift with the clutch.

Out of interest -- the ones on eBay are all for the TT, can I assume that the difference would just be the wiring?

Desperate for a pair of these too, but I reckon we'll cut our Japanese cousins some slack, just this once, eh? They've had some pretty pressing concerns to be fair!

I've been running an 1993 NA which has suddenly started idling like a dragster and driving like a kangaroo. All whilst belching clouds of Black smoke and using a lot of petrol. Just changed all six plugs, which were old and worn - but more importantly extremely sooty. Car will not idle very well off choke, frequently cuts out and 'kangaroos' with erratic power delivery. Going through the archives it looks as though it may be a Lambda sensor or two that have gone. Could anyone confirm that that's a possible, or better yet, likely issue? I'd love a little expertise to save me chucking more cash at wrong solutions. Any help greatly appreciated.
