Had nothing but good things said about the supra, I really liked "there is some note of that" and " I though automatic's were slow"

i'm nearly sure that the selector switch that is giving the problems is at the side of the gearbox, it would be the one were the selector shaft comes out of the gearbox. I had a other make of a car a few years ago with the same sort of problem and that's were the problem was, the switch unit was faulty. -
almost 20 years ago i was first at a crash were 3 friends of mine where killed, they were all in one car and the driver was drunk and was the only one to survive the crash so i would report it in a heart beat..

i'm buying a dci megane 1.5. over 60 mpg and £35 a year to tax so the supra will be a good day toy and get it insured as a classic:)

£400-£450 fully comp for me. I'm 38, clean licence and full no claims bonus. Thats the car garaged at night and 5000 miles a year so its not that cheap! If i was you i would be looking into classic insurance.

Arai RX7RR. One of the if not the best helmet made. Crazy money new but you could pick up a good second hand one for less than £200 and go then and get the helmet padding tailor fitted to your head free of charge from Arai

The UK spec turbos have a 4 bolt flange and j spec are 3 iirc

2 step only works taking of the line were as anti-lag would be going every time you take your foot of the throttle to keep the boost up and as you said very sore on turbos.

i think what your thinking about is 2 step launch which you would hear on alot of the us drag supras

I have an asi one fitted i got off ebay on now for 4 years, no problem with the fit or temp on a bpu.

I take it your running true twin turbo. I think the pipe you have marked you just link to the small hard pipe at the top of the turbos

The bolt pattern is different were they attach to the manifold iirc

I had most of the alarm in mine disconnected and had no warning lights. IICRC only the small red security light is the only one that alarm controls
