  1. Well I think that is what I wrote. If the car is Japspec then no EURO of any class unless modified and testet by TÜV individually or as they told me if someone does the same modifications as I have done they will certify euro 1 to that car since my car did euro2 (but that will only be mkIIIs with a JDM 2JZ-GTE and the same modifications as I did) If eurospec then Euro 1 or if they accept the german papers for the Walker mini-cat that can be bought on ebay then possible upgrade to euroclass 2. The fraudulent papers that circulate were also sold to me (for 500 euro....) and they were rightfully not accepted by the danish authorities. I wasn't told by the company that sells the papers that they were fraudulent. But I later found out that they had modified that car with an air pump pumping in air before the cats, new euro spec cats and a complete remap using bioethanol.
  2. EGR is not needed for Euro2. I have Euro2 on a japspec with upgraded cats (magnaflow california complient) and a modified temperature sensor (a timed relay that switches in a 200 ohm resistor after 4 s and forces the ecu out of the cold start tables). Then I fitted a cold start regulator making the car run 2500 rpm for 38 s. I tested the car to 1067 in CO. That is half of the limite for Euro2. The only reason it didn't get Euro3 was a little too high HC. So for Euro2 I would imagine just the cats and the tempsensor modification will be enough.
  3. The Japspec JZA80 won't comply with even euro 1. In Japan they test on warm engines and in europe after a 40 s warm up. The eurospec JZA80 is euro1 and can be upgraded to euro2 with a minikat or a cold start regulator. I have fitted a Japspec 2JZGTE to my MKIII Supra and I had to fool the temperature sensor with a timed relay and fit both the minikat as well as a cold start regulator and the bigger eurospec stock replacement catalytic converters. But then it complied with euro2 and was a hair from euro3. (It came in at 1067 in CO - euro2 is 2200 in CO)
  4. I guess not. The serial numbers are 89661-14490 and 89661-14491. The 89661-14490 was replaced in 10/1993 with the 89661-14491. Anyone knows why?
  5. I have a few JDM ECUs for the TT here and they have different part numbers. Are there any know differences between the different years of the pre-VVTI ECUs?
  6. Is there a WORKING base map available for the Japspec 2JZ-GTE with automatic transmission? I assume the ECU can control the transmisssion.

  10. I don't think there'll be any problems. I've done it on my 2JZ-GTE MKIII swap. I'm running a 1999 Soarer gearbox on a 1993 JZA80 ECU. And before that I was running the UK spec autobox on the same JDM ECU. The only thing I can think of as possibly problematic would be matching the new VVTI autobox with the old ECUs (and even that might not be a problem)
  11. The UK spec doesn't have the the hole for the temp sensor. It has a vacuum port more at the back. The bracket that holds the accelerator cable is not interchangeable between the jspec and the uk spec - spacing of holes is different so filing is required. No EGR on the jspec.
  12. Looking for the stock radiator fan for either NA or TT.
  13. And may I add: It is the Pro version for drag with ignition cut and the firmware is the 4.10C so there will be no problems with the boost controller kit.
  14. Looking for this pipe: http://www.japanerfusk.dk/IACV.jpg Must be in absolute perfect condition regarding the butterfly - that is never disassembled and 100% air tight. Bought one here previously which had been disassembled and it is sticking and not air tight. Also looking for Jspec intake manifold - the one without EGR but with the hole for Temp sensor. Can pay with Paypal and you need to ship to Denmark.

  16. Anyone has a set of tools for this that they want to sell?
