  4. May seem stupid but is your belt still attached to the alternator?

  6. Can someone recommend me a GOOD android app for calculating MPG in the UK? cheers
  7. My wife really likes it but she is getting silly ideas about selling it as she is about to give birth within the next few weeks. I just broke the news earlier that i cant sell it as ive already put down a deposit on a TT engine. Its been a very quiet night since.
  8. Bout time you got your finger out....hobo
  9. I have them fitted but i aint keen on them.. but they are hiding a hole that was cut in my bumper for a horrid bolt on rear fog light.
  10. I'd fit it at the vent on the front bumper, near-side just under the indicator. As said above.

    Engine sourcing

Hobo!!! just as well your built like the preverbial stone outhouse , I had noticed there are a lot of parts not suitable for VVTI engines. Cheers for the advice big man. Not sure what to do with the engine. Maybe find a cheap rolling shell and bung it in. Its a strong hassle free well serviced engine with about 65-70,000. always serviced.

    Engine sourcing

That was my initial thought but needed to hear it from someone else mate. I'll leave Jurgen alone to keep seeking a Pre vvti lump
  13. I currently have Jurgen sourcing me a TT engine with loom and auto ECU. I specified i wanted a Non VVTI lump but im wondering if this was a bad idea...Should i be open to whatever comes up first? Will there be any added complications fitting a VVTI engine to a non VVTI NA car?
  14. post pics of how your car is sitting now...and preferably before pics. What springs you got on? The bilsteins should be firmer.
  15. Getting IN will be the easy part.....Getting OUT?
  16. Ha the M74 is right on my doorstep im right on J14 (Crawford) and it is an outstanding road piece of road that is wide open and has looong straights with no hiding places for the law so you really can wind up your supra. Anyway back on topic im 36 but i know a guy who works locally and he is 60-odd and loves his Supra also so age doesn't really come into it as its a world famous car liked (and feared) by all. IMO. Just ENJOY it.
  17. sounds more like you may have problems with your wiring loom behind the dash. Have you had the dash panels off and checked the connections?
  18. Welcome Mihai, give the autobox a chance you may end up loving it. I do.
  19. Crackin pics there. TRD win win win.
