  1. @ Iky yeah the boot is closed mate as are all other doors, @ Sted if im honest i hadn't done this right away but it did eventually occur to me but once i took it off the light was still on. @ RDS_1992 Immobiliser!! made me laugh we all have those moments.
  2. Yeah the car already had a loom, Ive double checked ecu & switch and yeah the 30amp fuse was already in the kick panel fuse box but i removed it just to check and its fine.
  3. not yet as i haven't put the undertray bolts back in, (in case i have to remove it to solve this problem) its parked on top of 4 wooden railway sleepers with ramps at front. Primative but effective for working under it:D
  4. Just the main one mate. Ive done a search and this light only usually comes on when removing an active spoiler not fitting one
  5. go to a speciast import insurance company such as Sky or Livingstones and warman insurance brokers. http://lwib.co.uk/schemes/ these guys always quote me happy
  6. ah so it sounds like its working fine then, apart from the triangular warning light in the centre of the dash.??
  7. Ok ive just finished fitting my active spoiler this morning and im having two problems... 1. When the ignition is ON but engine is not running everything works properly ie If I press DOWN the spoiler deploys. if i press auto/off it retracts but when the engine is running (car not moving) nothing works incluging the light on the switch. In short: engine on... nothing works. Engine off with ignition on everthing is good. 2. I now have red warning light on the centre of my dash. So far ive tried.... checking the 30amp fuse in the kick panel in the drivers footwell and its ok. Ive also disconnected the battery for 10 mins to reset the ecu but no diference. Please give any info or experience you may have on this. Also i cant drive the car as yet as i havent put all the remaining bolts along the bottom of the undertray (incase i have to remove it to sort this problem) Thanks
  8. this saves me asking the same question. i always thought it was for the active front spoiler but i started fitting mine yesterday and found where that connector was.
  9. you still looking for a 6 speed box? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?269887-V160-Gearbox

  11. some good suggestions there i have a lot of it already, but the ratchet spanners with flexi head are now on my list along with the dremmel. Any more suggestions?
  12. Its about time i updated my tools and im starting with a dremmel as i often come across awkward hard to get to seized and knackered nuts and bolts (this weekend it was trying to remove the undertray from the bumper) I just wondered what handy tools you wouldn't be without? just to give me ideas. thanks.
  13. are any of yous driving with air-con on in this weather? that'll knock your MPG down a fair bit.
  14. white got my vote, i do like the yellow but id always wonder "did i buy the right one"?
  15. is this EVERYTHING needed to retro fit to a car without?

    Zoui's project MKIV

I love both before and after as they both seem to be well done to a high standard. I hope you didn't ditch the graphics due to other people hating it? You should put more pics in your garage ie interior etc. Its a great looking car so show it off.
  18. do you have an alarm and immobilsier? sounds like immob problem, can it be disconnected?
