hi and welcome get some pics up of your aristo mate
  2. I can maybe trade a TT6 loom. Depends when he is breaking.
  3. Fish brothers (Toyota dealer) in swindon said they were dicontinued. They Prob couldn't be bothered looking due to it being a "grey import part enquiry" their words.
  4. Im really struggling to find a TT auto engine loom(non vvti) ive tried all the traders and members with breaking threads on here, Ebay, Scumtree, 1st choice spares, local scrappys even MR T says they are discontinued. Can anyone suggest anywhere else to try its one of the last parts i need to complete my NA-TT build. Thanks for any help in advance folks.
  5. This might help a little http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?269484-2JZ-GTE-at-a-glance-Supra-Aristo
  6. "Parked up for a year"? might have mice living in your dash and enjoying sharpening there teeth on your wiring looms. SERIOUSLY it happened to me once. They also chewed halfway through an HT lead and the rubber cap of the top mount from my suspension. Little bas***ds.
  7. Fixing these little problems and getting everything looking right is all a part of ownership, enjoy it and do it right then stand back at the end and be proud of your work. Its weird seeing a left hand drive supra.
  8. engine one mate, im doing an NA-TT and ive bought an engine with a TT6 loom so i need a TT auto loom.
  9. Hi all, Ive been looking for a TT auto loom for a while and one has turned up on fleabay but it states its for an airbag model.. My car doesn't have airbags so will the loom still work? Im thinking it will but there will be a few plugs hanging loose once its all connected? Cheers folks
  10. Thats tighter than Jimmy Savilles tracksuit bottoms. Its funny that you even folded the mirrors in when the ar*e of the car is sooo wide.

    Advice Please

Use one of the price comparison sites first, you might be surprised. Then arm yourself with the best quote to use when phoning the specialist/import insurance companys. Thats what i done anyway.

    Advice Please

2.Try and insure it yourself mate, it will be expensive no doubt but keep phoning about and play the insurance companys off against each other on beating quotes, also ask them how they can help you lower it ie have an agreed low milage (under 1000 miles maybe). Dont do option 3!! you may end up losing the love.
  16. are you jump starting it off another car? or are you using a 3 year old battery thats not been used? have you checked the leads are connected to the plugs properly?
  17. Plus if your doing this you might want to fit Iridium spark plugs as its a pita changing them so might as well do them seeing as you have the throttle body etc off anyway. Dnk advised me on this a few years ago. Definately worth doing.
  18. I think ive sourced a good TT engine however it comes with a 6 speed loom and i need an auto loom. Will the 6 speed loom still work? The reason i ask is ive seen cars (NA-TT) with a TT auto loom running into a 5 speed ECU and it works fine. Alternatively if anyone has a GOOD CONDITION TT auto loom to sell im interested.
  19. Does anyone know how much £ these are? I doubt they will be cheap as the NA engine was never released in the UK.. My left cam gasket has a very slight weep, I might just leave it.
