  1. SHit thats quick.... No sweat, let me know otherwise... Rgds
  2. Hi bud, I'm interested... can you offer some photos of them first please. Thanks
  3. Envy! . . . . . . Oh, and who are these girls you know then....
  4. I have a Pair of working(folding) J-spec Mirrors in Silver. Drivers side cover is loose and requires re-attaching or something. £50 del... (think I got a spare harness for them too)
  5. Holding a PPL, it will cost you no less than £58K and average 9 mths training in the UK to get an EASA approved CPL. You could go to Nevada/USA or Jeddah/Saudia (cheapest good places about now) and half that cost.. but probably need about £7K to convert to EASA certification on completion. Then you will need a Type rating... a B737/3(classic) course will run you £16.5K... A320 family = £18K Very few companys offer you a Type course unless they bond you! An average EasyJet Junior F/O is on around £34K all in(sector pay and all allowances included). Average Left seat is £58K again all in. Senior F/O's average £45K and Senior Capt £67K(not many left) Ryanair have loads of F/O's on £22K, most Eastern Europeans. These guys are also bonded as Ryanair took them on with feck all hrs and experience.. they have also given them Type courses etc. My advise, if you can afford to do it.. go for it, Pilots are in demand worldwide and if you get a good break then you will have the most fecking easy job, with good money and good work respect!
  6. Rubbish with the mileage of RX7's needing a rebuild! There is no hard and fast mileage estimate of Rotary life. Not even a compression test can prove squat! A Rotary engine can last 100 miles or can last 100000 miles... It can be rebuilt by the best builder in the world and last 100 miles and throw a tip. Not that I have heard this, I have seen it happen many many times. A rotary engine rebuild can cost from £400 to £2500 if you do it yourself(very easy). The cost depends on the extent of the internal damage. If an Apex seal was the problem(most common), it depends on how bad it let go and what else it took out with it which factors the cost. You could also strip and put the engine back together in one day! The problem is the Rotary engine is sooo fragile that the slightest hiccup from the map, or a slight dip in fuel feed, or high water temps, oil temps, slight oil starvation, fuel temps, basically anything can trigger a det or abnormal condition and it can be goosed. Thats the engine... The cars themself are cheaply made, the interior trim is the worse I have seen.. worse than Nissan's.. and that says a lot! But don't get me wrong, when the RX is running right, it is indeed a darn fine machine and will give many many thrills and probably one of the best 'fun driver' cars out there. What fools people is that they are a Sexy car to look at and quite mysterious as they are different. The best way I can describe an RX7 FD(3rd gen), is to compare with you having a mega sexy bird that when you take her out she gets all the ohhh's and ahhhh's from everyone. But then she is a right bitch to be with, if you are lucky to get a shagg, it will be great, but it won't be often, cheap personality on the inside, high maintenance and a right pain to live with! Day to day daily drive = 'NO' Sorted piss about or track car = 'YES'... but good luck!
  7. I have owned 6 RX7's, done it all, rebuilt engines myself, tuned and modified. Where do you want me to start? Mind you where ever I start it will always end with 'never again!'
  8. Are you saying you want to change the light style on the car(one in attached pic) to the facelift style? If yes, I have not got a facelift set, but interested in those on the car is you choose to sell seperatly,,,,
  9. Rear lights I assume are standard J-spec(1 amber, 2 red, 1 white) style? If yes and are in good nick I would like them please.
  10. Is it possible to lift a Vid from 'You Tube'? And if so how do I do this.. I would like to pull a Video from there onto a Memory stick/Disc.. Layman explanation please.... Yes, I am registered on 'you tube' etc. Thanks
  11. 'I believe' the 2nd Cat is the Long one. Have a search or ask on the main forum as someone in the know should have the answer!
  12. Sounds like it's in Trini.... Shame the Video is crap.
  13. Good call bud.. Edited to confirm they are from a Twin Turbo J-spec!
  14. Have the 2 Cats from a TT J-spec Supra. Both in good condition from what I can see. Small/short one £30. Longer one £60.
  15. Set of(4) TT J-spec Suspension Springs (2 Front & 2 Rear) I don't know if they do or how much they lower the car. They are in good condition and are Black in colour! £40.
  16. Can you supply more information on the Turbo please! What style is the downpipe flange? And most important, whats the exact spec of this Turbo? Whats the hot side etc... You say the Turbo is 5 mths old, have you got a receipt and warranty/guarantee? Thanks
