  1. Anyone got a car or got pics of a Black Supra with the Blitz body kit, mainly shots with the front bumper and front profile they would like to share... Thanks
  2. Hi Lui, just catching this and I've got feck all to do on Tues, so I'll probably pop on down too! Rgds
  3. Dam sorry sight unfortunatly.... Hope it does not kick BA in the balls!
  4. Flying pig it could be indeed.... What are your thoughts........ I see you mentioned Bird strike on approach.. hmmm, taking out both engines, it will take a hell of a lot of birds to stop a Trent 800... 2 for that matter! But then again a couple witnesses claimed the engines were roaring...? Sudden power(elec) failure I would suspect.... if it were an Airbus that is... lol Lets see what Wayne can share, I think he's fully rated on the 77
  5. Whats your SOP's on the 77 then? Actually with regard to use of the APU....
  6. Sorry guys but it is pure speculation and nothing more at this time. But lets keep all the theories coming!
  7. With regard to the APU doors being open, I can't see that as being abnormal. As a matter of fact while typing here my collegue has just informed me that it is in fact part of their SOP (start APU before landing.) So that is a non starter! (or not, lol) I have more info now but unfortunatly cannot disclose on a public forum.. sorry. Oh, and no PM's please... (it may just be rumours)
  8. Seems the tech guys can't even answer simple stuff like this bud as I'm still waiting for a clear answer! http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=9916&highlight=vvti
  9. Lack of fuel is not at all likely... there are too many fail safe features for this to occur. AFAIK there was not a PAN(emergency call). Tower or no one was informed of any abnormalities, they were not priority to come in either. So all parameters on approach and Finals were normal. Had to be Jockey error, serious Windshear, Auto Land Command fault, or combi of both very late on. Not even convinced they had a double flame out as apparently the flare was fine and if they had no throttle power so late in the roll out they would of hit the deck so frecking hard it would of been far worse! Something caused them to fall short very very late on.............
  10. Spot on.... Dam good Aircraft... I'll put money on the usual suspect... 'Pilot error!'
  11. And Temperature follows pressure..
  12. I guess the car was on a Trader policy then? If so then yes, you are screwed really!
  13. FFS I was having an easy night surfing here feeling a bit sorry for the chap and then Jake comes out with a fecking cracker! Mate you got too much time on your hands.. This place is the best I tell ya! Oh, and sorry about your car dude...
  14. Thanks Jake, so you are saying I can buy any TRL FCD(eg like ones selling in the for sale sections) and it will work in either VVTi and Non VVTi?
  15. Sorry for raising the dead... But can someone tell me if there is a difference between these units with regard to a VVTi and non car. Are they type specific? Thanks
  16. Brian... Agreed, his advert is rather shite poor!
  17. Right these are the ones I require... Thanks
  18. Anyone heading Oxford sort of way this coming weekend I could hitch a lift with? I'm around Essex/Hertfordshire border looking for a ride to Oxford this weekend 19/20 Jan. Just covering all options and trying to save the wife another boring long epic! Thanks
  19. I would like to get these as soon as I can, if no leads here by tomorrow I will have to place the order with Nic and just wait. Thanks
  20. The Waste gate exhaust when vented to atmosphere is called a 'screamer pipe'. (hence the name) When it is plumbed back into the Exhaust system it is not a screamer pipe!

Rubbish, the Rotary design has been around almost as long as a Piston design. There have been many many variations and concepts of the Rotary over the years by many different designers who had chances with them and it's the best it is now, which is still crap... why would anyone buy a car with an engine with an extremely limited life span(aka 60K miles) in this modern era! It's not like it's even going to compensate for this fault by saving you money on fuel economy.... because thats it's second biggest problem... very poor efficiency! Anyway, I like how Keef summed up his experience with his Rex and can echo what he means entirely. Oh and Antnicuk, the Supra is a far more sexy, aggressive, classy, better looking car any day!
