  1. May i add that it was an auto also which makes it twice as bad especially as it said already the track was greasy and also definantly a track not ideally suited for the supra i.e short straights and lots of twisty corners. I kinda felt sorry for him tho because he had obviuosly put a fair bit of money into his car. But the fact that he looked and seemed a bit of a chav and showing of to his mates, i didnt feel sorry for him for long. (awaits for said driver to come on here and start giving me some abuse now) LOL
  2. Just clutching at straws here but have you checked ht leads, distributor cap/rotor arm, (all that polishing you did yesterday you've probably polished through the ht leads and moisture has got in LOL) Mind you faulty ht leads etc wouldn't account for the high temps
  3. I second that, i paid something like that for mine and fitment was pretty straight forward and copes perfectly for my bpu'd supra
  4. at least we won't have the misfortune of crossing paths thank god as it looks like its in Oz. But take the disco away and you have a nice motor
  5. Thats a banjo bolt and will just unbolt
  6. Yeah looking forward too it. But yep going with Russ. No doubt it will rain tho, the forecast don't look good. Also with the rain this weekend not gonna get chance to clean mine Ahwell see ya there mate
  7. Ryan will charge roughly £800 and thats the ecu, fitting it, and remapping it on the rolling road. He did 2 maps for me one in sequentual mode and one in ttc, we both agreed that the ttc mode is more suited to my car. He also has kept the sequential map on his computer so it can be uploaded to the ecu if i decide to change. So basically you do get alot for your money. Sorry about the essay lol
  8. I mirror what piston broke says. Ryan G is the man to sort this out for you mate. I have recently used him to be piggyback ecu and map it for ttc and his work is top notch.
  9. Looks the business mate, ill look forward to seeing this on monday. Just hope the weather holds off!!!!!

    Test Drive

Yeah that mileage appears to be a wee bit tampered with. If it was me and I had that info I would either walk away or really question the seller about it.
  11. Does look like a nice example, and i mirror what jamesy said but does seem overpriced compared to what supras seem to fetch these days. The mad thing is I bet someone out there will buy for that money
  12. Happy Birthday guv, hope you had a good day mate
  13. Do you mean rounded head or tapered as most after market alloys use a tapered seat wheel nut. I have stock toyota ones the best I can describe them is top hat shaped with a flat seat, it has an open head (you can see the wheel stud when nut is on) Think im making sense and not confusing things further lol
  14. yes it would dry clear mate, just like laquer dries on paintwork
  15. Hi mate, i have some stock "nuts" if this is any use, as im pretty sure they are not compatible with after market alloys, I could be wrong though!!
  16. various grades of wet sanding, followed by cutting compounds and finesse it with d.a is the "proper" way of doing things and does bring them up like glass believe me
  17. There is always one hawkeye lol!!! Anyway mate looks like a top job well done. Also I would leave it matt, don't put a shine on it
  18. Ive got a stock one that i have just taken off my car, this is also in white!!
  19. If the others fall through i would like the wind deflectors well the drivers side specifically but obviously you would want to sell as a pair
  20. How much for just the calipers delivered
  21. I think you'll be safe mate, just seen you have a stock spoiler and im sure this was after market. Ive never seen this car before round this way, think ive only ever seen 3 or 4 different supes in my area
  22. Yeah it looked just like yours. Im not shitting you either!!! although it didn't seem as bright as yours mate
