  1. Hawk pads give very low dust ... compared to more track oriented ones (portefield, ...)
  2. I have put Brembo slotted discs front and rear with Hawk pads allround ... I felt a nice difference in brake power ... combined with braided lines and the right oil Total costs : approx 450 £
  3. I agree on that ... global costs for the hybrids will be higher than £2k. I also agree on the fact that the single turbo conversion does not give the low down torque as standard turbos (or hybrids). However, this lag can be minimised (mid pipe, downpipe, manifold, lightened flywheel, ... )
  4. Have mine in red ... like that. I have to admit that yellow looks nice too
  5. I am thinking about going the same route ... can you give an impression on the road...
  6. I had my stock (euro-spec) twins running 1.4 bar. The conversion to single was an awseome power mutation. Be sure of what you want ... You speek about 500 bhp, which you won't get with stock twins or hybrids. But as we all know, today it's 500, tomorrow 520 and so on Set yourself a concrete goal and then decide what to go for
  7. What do you mean ... if you go hybrid or UK spec???? Never mind, Lui's Supe is running an automatic box too ... I don't think he changed anything to the transmission.
  8. I confirm Tricky-Ricky with the twin set up. Before going single, I had the Euro-spec turbos running 1.4 bar (with GReddy electronic boost controller, GReddy e-manage piggy back ECU, GReddy 3 row FMIC, RMM downpipe) (euro-spec 256 cams). The power gain (compared to stock) was impressive ... I think 420-430 was the power I was running; It felt very nice.
  9. That's great ... in fact, I can't complain ... I got the approval for all the mods I did so far too
  10. Have a look at last Japanese Performance Mag (Issue 89) ... there is a Supe in which runs Envy stage 3 hybrid turbos (power approx 465 bhp)
  11. Next time you feel she has the same "generous day" ... enlarge your Supe shopping list ASAP and have it signed by her for approval I hope you won't have to pay in counterpart for the leather seat
  12. The alloys look nice ... tyre dimensions are the same as original. Seems fine. Personally, I would go for 18 inchers (or 19) ... 17 are a little bit lost under the arches
  13. Looks nice ... I think the "TWIN" in blue would be better on a silver Supe
  14. Yep ... with stage 3 hybrid turbos, 264 cams, FMIC, uprated fuel pump, UK spec injectors, Boost controller and a piggy back ECU, 460-470 hp can be achieved (not to forget a decatted exhaust). But, as mentionned by Homer, foget the 500 if you want to stick with the twin setup.
  15. Not the front I would have chosen ... but looks nice.
  16. Agree on that ... but I think your car is in good hands Ben
  17. I won't buy them back after you removed them in april Luc
  18. Seeing (in the magazines) what some guys are running on stock engines (specially the yanks) ... I wouldn't bother if I were you... just keep on runnig Ben
  19. I have a RPS clutch on mine ... plus RPS lightened flywheel. The clutch is great ... flywheel sometimes noisy, but OK !
