  1. got my G2 paint and decals from MVP
  2. I would go as you said ... on for MOT and off for the rest. For the moment, I put mine (as a sticker) on the upper part of the bumper (see pic) ... I have ordered a Top Secret front bumper (for changes) and I wont put any plate on that.
  3. Well ... not only the diameter of the exhaust gives you a certain loudness (lets call it sound ... that's better ). The straightness (or bends) of the exhaust also influences the sound of the car, as well as the material of the exhaust (stainless steel, titanium, ...) In terms of power gains, I think they are minimal (approx 5 hp which you will not feel). In case you have a TT Supra, if you really want to add some more power to the car, remove the cats and replace it by a downpipe... tha'll give you approx 30-40 bhp more (on a N/A Supe, don't exactly know what gains to expect... maybee 15-20 bhp) I have a RMM downpipe which I had to remove when I went for my Single upgrade...if you want it, just tell me.
  4. I think the first thing to do is to define, as Homer said, if you want a drag car, a pure track car or a fast road car. If you go for a fast road car, fix yourself a bhp figure you want to achieve and look for the fastest spooling turbo. You shouldn't go for a PHR stage 3 kit on the road for example ... it's overkill !! I think that for 600 bhp (which is really nice on the road), boost logic and PHR offer very nice kits. Just don't go for a big and laggy T78 or T88 turbo, just because that impresses people on the forums. As for the styling on your Supra, you have to drive it yourself and look at it the most ... so do as YOU like it the most ... if you like the lambo doors ... let them on. Last word ... regarding your young age, compliments for your works on the car so far.

    Hello People

do you have a Supra or are you planning to buy one.

    hi all

Good luck with your search. As already said, try to get as much information about Supra's as you can. You should also know what performance level you want to go for. I you want to go for a stock twin turbo one (which can be slightly boosted to 400+ hp), do that. However, if you purchase more hp, you should consider maybee buying a modified (mint) one which will probaly cost you less than buying a standard one and having it modified afterwards. Never mind ... whatever direction you go ... you can't be wrong ... as long as you go Supra PHR stage 1

    yes im a newb!

welcome some pics and the spec please :-) PHR stage 1
  8. I have a HKS Super Dragger on mine ... sounds really great. Deep sound which is not too penetrating at moderate rpm's. On hard acceleration, the sound is slightly higher, but still able to drive at 130 mph on the motorway without having a headache after half an hour. And it also looks very nice and clean PHR stage 1
  9. Welcome Forget the rear seats of the Supra ... if you don't wanna drive with your knees on the dashboard, the rear of the front seat almost touches the lower part of the rear seats. Even for young kids, problem! My son (4 years) and I drive on ourselves and let the girls (wife an daughter) at home :-) Hope you will however go for one ... greatest car :-P PHR stage 1

  12. Very nice ride ... looks awesome... great condition. PHR stage 1
  13. If I had to choose between the 2, I would go for the second one.
  14. Before I went for single conversion, I was running my stock Euro-spec turbos with boost controller, GReddy e-manage and GReddy front mounted intercooler. J-sec turbos can run a max of 1.2 bar ; the Euro-spec turbos can run more ... I had them running on 1.4 bar. The power ouput was about 440 bhp. Wou must however know that euro-spec Supras also run 550cc injectors, compared to 440cc injectors for the J-spec Supra. So I think with the same set-up on the smaller injectors, count 20 bhp less. Hello!!!!

Hope you find the right Supra soon .... keep us informed. PHR stage 1
  18. check the following page for information http://www.motul.fr/uk/produits/index.html The MOTUL gear 300 is 75w90. If your car runs more power than standard, I suggest the Motul Gear 300 for the gearbox and the Motul Gear competition for the diff. I have this oil set-up on my car (recommended by Paul Whiffin) and the oils are great. Only when cold, the gear box oil is a little "thick" and you need 2-3 minutes of driving till it's warmed up. After that , gear changes are ultra smoth and quick. I would try this ... makes a difference ... and don't try to save money on lubrificants :-) PHR stage 1
  19. Very cool ... your engine bay looks like new ... great work PHR stage 1
  20. Thanks guys ... I got the list of OEM parts with their weight Colsoop ... thanks PHR stage 1
  21. I use the MOTUL Gear Competition which is 75w140. This one is great for the Diff. I use the MOTUL gear 300 is for the gearbox. PHR stage 1
  22. Hello guys, In order to drop some weight off my Supra, I plan to remove the boot and the rear seats ... anyone an idea of what I can expect (how many pounds) from this "Diet" ?? Thanks PHR Stage 1
