  1. It could be a (very unfunny) wind-up by someone else - i.e. someone got onto her Facebook page and changed the pic. I think perhaps some proof is required before anyone fetches the pitchforks and torches...
  2. Hello! Good luck with the search. Go for a TT. You know you want to...!
  3. Okay then, one more thing: what's the best way of chopping a hole out myself? As in, what's the best tool for the job in this case?
  4. That's exactly what I wanted to do, hence why I asked, you see?! JamieP, if you've done it on your beast of a car, I think I can feel pretty confident that it's okay to do! Thanks all for the advice. I guess I'll get cutting sometime soon!
  5. Hi all. I was wondering if it's dangerous or not to cut a hole in the portion of metal in the engine bay under which the stock airbox sits. I've seen this done a couple of times for various reasons and wondered if it was actually acceptable or if it can compromise the safety / rigidity of the chassis. I've included a pic for reference (hope you don't mind, Davey001!) with the hole in question circled in green. Any advice by knowledgeable members would be massively appreciated!
  6. Black insides. Black on silver looks great, but the carbon may not look right and I think the risk of it peeling and the work needing to be re-done is too large.
  7. Wow! I've never seen this build thread before, but I've just found myself totally engrossed and have read the whole thing from start to finish! I can't believe the difference you've managed to make to your car, from that early (*ahem*) "unique" stickered-up monstrosity to what is now a really really nice looking Supra. Seriously, well done! I'm now really looking forward to seeing the future changes. Keep up the good work!
  8. Excellent! Good on sis! Happy birthday for tomorrow.
  9. I think that might be sarcasm...
  10. That's such an impressive looking car! Would love to see it in the flesh.
  11. Ouch. Gutted for you! Did you get insurance with the postage? That should sort it out if so. If not, uh, dunno...

    Hi Guys

Hello! Good luck with the search.
  13. After four years, an answer is found...!

    Hi Folks

Hi Mick! That's quite a spec - any engine bay pics?
  15. Nice one! Thanks for the info!
  16. The clue's in the title, really... I'm after a Trial rear bumper, preferably genuine but a decent copy would be okay and preferably already painted in 199 silver, but again, I'd consider any that are available. Picky, I know...!
  17. I quite like the idea of having the indicators inside the headlights (I thought of doing what you've done here a while back, although never did...), but I've got to be honest and say that I'm not keen on the other lights in the bumper. They just don't look... integrated enough. It's like they look stuck on, rather than part of the car. But to each his own! If you like it, keep it, you know?
  18. Any pics? I'm after one of these...
  19. I've just come across this thread (not like that...). A tramp would be easy to get in London if I wasn't a few thousand miles away from my car! Keep 'em coming, I'll be on this soon enough...
  20. They're a bit "gangsta," I reckon. Truly hideous, in other words!
  21. Sorry for the "spam", but that's a really clean carpet you've got! Sorry again... Good luck with the sale!
  22. That sure is... distinctive. Love the massive profile of the wheels!
  23. Hello! Sky Insurance have sorted me out with the best quotes for the last couple of years. Good luck with the car hunt!
  24. Hello! Your requirements should be able to be met. I found my car (TT manual) in unmolested form a couple of years ago, so they are out there. Good luck with the search!
