  1. Cool! It's always smart to see inside things like this, it gives you a real feel for how these work, especially for someone like me who has virtually no experience with this kinda stuff!
  2. Check the connector that plugs into the back of the hazard switch, it may be loose or disconnected completely. I had my dash out a little while ago and when I put it all back together I had no indicators or hazards, it turned out that I hadn't replaced this connector. HTH Dan
  3. In reference to my previous thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=2294617&postcount=17 There was no cover over the coolant pipework and as a result (i would imagine) there is rust inside as well as a number of bugs and who knows what else. How would I get this out? Is there some way of doing a flush of the coolant system in it's current condition? I think this would need doing before the engine came out as it can be run as it is now. Any advice? Thanks as always Dan
  4. Sorry for my ignorance, what is a VSV?
  5. Sorry to hear this fella. Go out and get drunk! Always helps!
  6. Anyone? I thought there were plenty of these around
  7. Would also consider something aftermarket if the price is right!
  8. Lol! What a genius! That's gunna go as far as the MX5 that was tied down at the rear wheels!...not long before is snapped in half! Good post there Michael!
  9. Wouldn't kick her outta bed! That's why i'm looking forward to Download! Loads of metal chicks to have a perv at!

    Optician advice

Quite right! Unfortunately I'm still using Specsavers because I use their Elite lenses which suit my eyes. Unless you can recommend a better alternative?

    Optician advice

-50 & +50? Surely that's -0.50 and +0.50. My eyes are -0.75 which means I'm slightly short sighted. I can function without glasses, but driving is a bit of a nightmare! Sign posts are not easily visible, which can cause obvious problems. If it's -5.0 and +5.0 then that means your totally blind and might as well have your eyes closed:d glasses are a must! It's amazing you've managed to get around if that's the case. I'm no professional but with having a + & - prescription you'd need glasses? That must confuse your eyes and could explain your headaches! When I had my eyes tested a few years ago they told me I had -0.75 and that it was my choice if I wanted glasses or not because it's not a strong prescription. Sounds like yours is 0.50 which is not strong at all. I opted to have contacts and now i can't live without them. My advice, go see another Optician, but at ALL costs avoid Specsavers, they have messed me around so many times, they're just cr*p (and that's the nicest word I'm prepared to use! ) Getting some contact lenses will almost definately help you day to day, just don't put the wrong one in the wrong eye!
  12. I'll have a blast at that: Hamilton/Kubica/Kovalainen/Vettel/Rosberg/Beumi/Fisichella
  13. I've just scraped my rear bumper on a van that was parked stupidly behind me (In my defence it was 6am! ) As a result I'm looking for a stock rear bumper! The scraping isn't really bad but it's noticable! The lacquer is cracked at the top by the tail light and some nice scraping! My logic is that it would be cheaper to get a good second hand one and fit it rather than repair and respray. So if anyone has a good condition rear bumper in 199 silver with no damage or knows where I can get one then I'd be interested! Many Thanks Dan
  14. I'm exactly the same! I've been looking forward to the new season for ages! The best thing is that my shift pattern has fallen in a way that gives me the 1st GP off, so no watching it on grainy pictures on the internet!
  15. Very nice! Love the colour
  16. Kane & Lynch: Dead Men Grand Theft Auto 4 Gran Turismo 5:Prologue Sega Rally Motorstorm Any of these take your fancy?
  17. I can recommend Falkens, they're a good tyre, good grip. Good price too!

"Mom"? Are you from across the pond?
  19. What a complete tit! Daddy will pay for another one though I'm sure! Just coz you have money doesn't mean you have common sense, but insurance companies will continue to insure these people because they will pay whatever they want! Unfortunatelly, that means higher premiums for average joes like us!
  20. Sorry to hear that fella! It's never nice when this sort of thing happens, but you'll be ok!
  21. Ha! What a dumb ass! Serves him right! When will they ever learn?
  22. That's the state of the country at the minute, if he had called the police nothing would have been done, instead he took his own course of action and got sent down! You can't win!
