I've done a search and it seems that it may have been an option. Anyone know how to find out? I've read that there is a CL control box under the drivers seat. So if mine had CL then I can only assume the box should be there?

Is this true? I didn't think my Supra had CL, but as you say it might be because I don't have the fob! If anyone can confirm that all Supras have CL that would be good

I've noticed in the pic with all the trim that in the bottom left corner there is a wiper arm. Is this for the rear? I need one

There seems to be plenty of products available for supercharging the 2JZ-GE motor, here's the main one that people on the is300 forum mention a lot: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/product.php?p=144 I'm sure with a bit more searching I will find one that someone has done in the states.

Thank you!! This is exactly what I said the other day after everyone had finished shooting someone down about the supercharger route! I would love to have a supercharged Supra, just partly for the fact that it would be different! I have a 5 Speed manual N/A and I'm also very interested in this idea! Unfortunately I don't have the mechanical knowledge of such systems to make it work! From what I understand though the SC system only works with Vvti engines, is this the case? I guess the first problem would be sourcing the N/A vvti engines! Might it be worth getting in touch with a US forum with people who have completed this mod? Thank you for starting this thread, it's about time someone looked into this properly and made it work!

Fair play for taking the challenge on that was set by the forum, realising that it wasn't as good as expected and coming back for more! It seems to me that the combination of your tuner talking b*llocks and your own pride has gone against you, but it appears you've done OK! I'd personally have to think twice about coming on here and get flamed like you have and still come back! But everyone here is a good laugh so it's all good! I genuinely hope you get a good result from this car, but I don't think anyone is expecting anything spectacular! Maybe going single turbo is the answer? From my experience with this forum, lots of people come on with a few misguided views and are put in the right direction (if not forced in the right direction) with the help of some very experienced Supra owners, and they certainly know their sh*t! I think they put the intercooler in the back or something? One of the YouTube links above showed vents in the rear quarter windows and something in the back which I can only assume was for cooling! The engines on a 747 are turbines, and a completely different design! Unless you wanted to ditch the tried and tested turbine method and try propellers!? I suspect there may be an issue of it getting off the ground! The 2JZ engine could be used to power the toilet or something? It'd be so powerful you might actually get sucked it!

In that case wouldn't it be easier to to buy one from TS? Much less hassle! Christ, why not buy 2?
