  1. What's happened there is that Ferrari and the others have caught wind of the new diffuser, noticed that Brawn GP etc are getting better lap times and are kicking up a stink because they didn't think of it first! Well I think it's about time someone gave the big boys a run for their money. I hope this season turns out to be a classic I am however, having major problems trying to find the qualifying on BBC iPlayer! Does anyone know how long it takes for them to get programmes on there?

    Are you RAF?

Did you operate on Chinooks? I'd like to be a Crewman on the Chinook, that's my ideal job, but not sure if I'll get it. I met a Puma crew from Aldregrove who stopped over on the IoM for some fuel, nice chaps, gave me loads of advice and made me want to join up more

    Are you RAF?

Well I'm joining the RAF in a few months, and if it's as cushy as you say it is i want in now! But seriously, I don't mind sleeping in a tent....as long as I can have fresh towels and a paper in the morning
  4. What's the paint like on the calipers? Will they need a refurb? They look a bit dirty so can't see the paint too well
  5. Love your avatar! Mine is slightly better!
  6. I'm sorry, but I must correct you there, she infact did a 10 page photo shoot for OK magazine and was the guest of honour at the grand opening of the newest Lidl in Slough. How dare you sir.
  7. I think the main thing here is that people deal with things in a different way. Making jokes about things, terrible or not, is all part of human nature, we're all wrong in the head at times! She died young, and left kids, and it's terrible, but does anyone care? Sure SOME people do, but for the most part people have their own problems to deal with, making jokes about some pointless celebrity doesn't seem to matter to most people, and why should it? The part that makes it acceptable to make jokes is the fact that no one on here knew her. Sure, if it was someone we knew it wouldn't happen, it's common sense! This is just the way the world works. But I'm sure I don't need to tell you that, just my thoughts
  8. Oh dear...you shouldn't laugh, but can't help it! We're all going to hell!
  9. Can I get a pic of the calipers please? I will need them posting though please as I'm nowhere near Essex!
  10. Nice looking car! F3000? Sweet. I bet that absolutely flys!
  11. Would you consider splitting the calipers? (By that I mean I'll take the complete set of calipers with no discs) Also, are they stock pads?
  12. Hi, what condition are the calipers and discs in please? Thanks Dan
  13. I think braided lines are car specific. So if you go with a reputable company like Goodridge, then you should get everything you need. Just make sure that you buy the good lines with the complete stainless end fittings aswell. The cheaper zinc plated ones will corrode over time, so spending that little bit more will pay for itself. Do-luck have just released a set and there's a group buy going on at the moment. These are yet untested day-to-day by anyone here but Do-luck are offering a lifetime guarantee. Might be worth checking out Edit: Here's the link to the thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=179946 Dan
  14. Well, most of the vibration seems to be coming from around the end of the gear box area/front of intermediate shaft sub-assembly area. Does anyone know if this is something I'd be able to have a look at by myself? I have ramp access. Or should I let someone else have a look?
  15. Blitz Nur Spec R all the way! Sounds awesome under power!
  16. Someone has obviously put a lot of effort into it, so well done them! Put on the practical side, what a load of ar*e!
  17. OK, so I've had a look. Is this what we're talking about? Would a worn bearing in this area account for the vibration? The manual on Turbsupras has a number of possibilities for vibration (if it is indeed the prop shaft where the problem lies) 1. Transmission extension housing rear bushing (Runout) 2. Sleeve yoke spline (Stuck) 3. Propeller shaft (Runout) 4. Propeller shaft (Imbalance) I don't have enough knowledge to know if my symptoms would be caused by any of these things, for example, what the hell is a yoke?
  18. If the centre bearing is the problem then does that mean a new prop? Hang on, I'll have a look in the manual!
  19. CV Joints? I've had a look at the turbosupras manuals but couldn't see any reference to these (perhaps I wasn't looking in the right section ). What are these and how do I get to them? I'm off to the workshop now so I'll have a poke around.
  20. I always miss these things being stuck on the bloody Isle of Man Went to Japfest last year and it cost me well over £650! Can't justify that kinda money again this year. Have a good time though chaps! Maybe next year
  21. Afternoon chaps! Hopefully someone will be able to help me. I've been experiencing some vibration which I think is coming from the gearbox/prop shaft area (from the gear shifter area back towards the centre console). The vibration only happens when I get near the high end of the rev range and disapears when I change gear. Normal driving is ok, with no vibration. I've got a 93 5 Speed NA. Any thoughts? Cheers Dan
  22. Sad news. Especially on a day like today. Was never a big fan, but liked the fact that she has set up her kids for life by screwing the tabloids. RIP Jade.
