When walking around our 'stand' at Japfest, I noticed that nearly all the cars with plastic front lights suffered with clouding or yellowing to some degree. It would have to be the glass units for me after seeing that, there really is no comparison.

Have you tried to sell it before deciding to scrap it? It could at least be usable as a track toy. -

Haha, yeah that would be why. I got a lot better at holding the slides at the end of the day, and there's only one way to learn! I'm sure with some decent rubber I can go around those corners a lot faster (especially the one I fell off of, twice!). It is simple but very very tidy, I learnt a lot there again and really hope we go next year (if not before). It's a pity some were put off over Japshow, it doesn't really seem any comparison...

I'm sure a good one will appear at some point, they are around. Mine was just over £3,000 from these very forums, delivered to my door and (was) in mint condition - used daily so has a few scuffs now.

The aerotop roof itself is made from Aluminium, so it wouldn't have been rust - just some corrosion.

You offered £4,000 for a NA Aerotop with a poor paint job and some other niggles? I'm glad for your sake that the seller turned it down.
