  1. Do they throw in the rape for free?
  2. I don't intend on staying until 6 either.
  3. It said that last year as well, but I think most of us left before then without issue. They can't exactly stop you leaving..
  4. Welcome to the club Animal. I picked mine up today. Seems to run OK, I want to get it on a Dyno as it doesn't feel all that powerful (I might just be used to it). The steering is a lot heavier than it was, possibly something to do with the fact I now have a Facelift engine and ECU.. I'm not sure I like it.
  5. There used to be no fee for using the 'gift' option, but it was getting heavily abused..
  6. Neither. Save and get something decent!
  7. I wonder where they came from. The sills are the best part of the car, I had them fixed and resprayed! Why isn't your name down for this Lee?
  8. Get your own! It's fixed, I'm picking it up tomorrow.
  9. I presume the Suzuki is yours, since there are so many pictures of it? Looks like fun.
  10. That is an amazing fish! Little bit of info on the eyes here.
  11. Buy a slower car to drive for a bit, then go back to the Supra.
  12. If she's that bothered, get her a brown paper bag to wear when she's in the car with you.
  13. Why haven't you bought another one yet Sheefa?
  14. Probably an R32 GT-R or RX-7 FD (if I could fit in one), they're the two cars I really liked when I was younger.
  15. I've had some unforseen expenditures, going to have to bow out.
  16. Well I had a think about it, and decided to join the NA-NA club. I'll have a reliable car one of these days!
  17. They're just some plastic dashboard plugs I got from Halfords, held in my blu-tac.
  18. Strange, I paid £200-250 for each of my three sets. Please do tell about this secret supplier you have. I'll take it as
  19. That's the one. Steve said he'd had some trouble getting it to act up, but found that the pressure was low on the 5th cylinder. It's the usual case when you take it to a garage! I've only heard the misfire when it's hot & idling. It just tends to lack power or feel completely wrong above 4,000rpm, though sometimes goes perfectly. Definitely not right. It does handle very nicely, just getting sick of putting money into it.
  20. I'm weighing up my options due to yet another problem with this car, interested in what others feel this would be worth (I don't think it's a lot). Engine Specifications: Stock 2JZ-GE (low pressure on cylinder 5) Fuel, Tuning & ECU: Stock Exhaust: Stock Drivetrain: W58 5 speed manual Locked diff SPEC Stage 1 Clutch Weight Reduction & Transfer: Interior removed from rear half of car Carpet removed 1316kg without driver & 1/2 tank of fuel Suspension, Wheels, Tires & Brakes: Stock 17" alloys Stock toyota-bilstein coilovers Stock 2pot/1pot brakes Goodrich braided lines CW Fast Road pads Goodyear F1 tyres Interior & ICE: Stock seats/dash/surround remain ICE removed Exterior: Stock plastics, not the best fit. Rust on the edges of the doors and a spot on the boot. Car has had a spray over, there are dents under the paint and marks from where the previous body kit has worn the paint away. Performance: Non-existent at the minute Other: Engine has new spark plugs/cam belt, and new water pump attached - could be re-used on a replacement engine Thanks for your time.
  21. Well, I did what I could to test it, then took it to Silverstone garage. Cylinder 5 seems to be holding about half the pressure of the rest, which I take to mean the engine might as well be written off. Thanks for the advice given. I'm really not sure what to do with this car now..
  22. Ah well, fingers crossed! I need someone who offers free labour to do an engine swap for me..
  23. I presume that post is missing some pictures?
  24. Cyclinder 5 not holding pressure, my engine is knackered.
