  1. It is also easier for filling up if you park on an incline with the front of the car facing up
  2. Yeah mine are the 5 spoke. The Rota 'Grid' is the 6 spoke version (Rays TE37 replicas essentially!). The black chrome ones would maybe look nice against your Storm Blue:- (Obviously it is a lighter blue on this Nissan!)
  3. Lovely looking car! I was looking at a storm blue UK spec 6 speed a few years back but it sold before I could view it! Beautiful colour! I am a big fan of the Rota GTR! I have them on my Supra (18" x 8.5" at the front, 18" x 9.5" at the rear):- https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/296762_282995771724792_136066973084340_1032230_71260314_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/304189_284344564924201_157593177599341_1024372_954163002_n.jpg
  4. All replies successfully considered to be not valid. My head hurts now. It will be worse in 12 hours you silly boy...
  5. Hello folks, I have been allocated my mechanical engineering honours project for my final year. It is 'Modelling and Performance of a Torque Converter". What I am looking for is a stock Supra torque converter so that I can create a model of it and strip it down If anyone has one and they were planning on chucking it out then I'd love to have it so I can make some headway on this project, similarly if someone has one spare and would give me it as a loan until April then that would be a fantastic help! As well as this, if anyone knows where I can get hold of some technical drawings for reference then that would be great too! I also need to try to get some performance graphs from Toyota, which will most likely be unattainable! Any help with any of the above greatly appreciated
  6. Lots of pictures and discussion on it (and other TRD widebody cars) here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?147942-TRD-VIN-TRDJZA80VIN-compared-to-TRDJA80VIN&highlight=blue+widebody
  7. The Strathclyde etc. members should continue to have an Xscape meet and the Aberdeen lot have the Team Beard meet. A mutual 'big' meet (like this Crail outing) at a halfway point between the 2 locations which contain the highest concentration of meet-going members makes sense and is about fair in terms of distance travelled surely
  8. The 9785km TRD 3000GT in RSP that Jurgen got hold of must be up there! Sorry H!
  9. http://img818.imageshack.us/img818/4353/mg3284best.jpg http://ll.speedhunters.com/u/f/eagames/NFS/speedhunters.com/Images/Dino%20Dalle%20Carbonare/NOVEMBER2009/MSC-Rd12-1/IMG_0098.jpg Current picture of my own too for good measure
  10. The car has had it's first (deep) clean in quite a long time. Looking quite a bit better: Need to get the bumper pushed up a bit as it sags where the 'mouth' is and it is really annoying me!
  11. Have a look at MarcAB10's car too. It is fantastically styled, with massive amounts of work carried out - subtle as much as noticeable - to make it the stunning car that it is!
  12. Thought you didn't want any on Monday They look good though
  13. 1. HateEvent (though we already know which members will be in attendance!)
  14. I would love a 97 RZ/RZ-S (6 spd) in 040 White or RSP totally stock like that with such low mileage! Nice
  15. I thought you had seen it before? Though it was the Golf I had at NEMS I suppose! I've been to a meet with the Supra (Baxters soup place!), I thought you were there! Thanks for the kind words Scott I wish that I was finished Uni and earning as much as I wish to spend on the car but I certainly do give it my all with what I can while still in Uni and working part time! Yeah I was out a fair while! Haven't ever seen yours properly yet! Only if you come up after Crail?
  16. Any time - I've been driving about in it all day and will be for the foreseeable future haha
