  1. Cheers for that mate will have look at that over weekend as planning on another full weekend in garage lol
  2. Cheers bud she’s getting there now I do have idle control valve from GTE but was unsure how it all goes together and how to plum it all in and connect it all up, that’s the joy of doing most of it myself lol unsure of best routes and how certain things go lol
  3. This weekend hoping to get the new injector connectors soldered on and hopefully the throttle position sensor extended, and fingers crossed power steering kit turns up so can do that fitted aswell. Am so close now to getting this beast finished, think once get this all done can fit fuel system and look and getting cold side intercooler kit finished and the dump valve and sensors in all ready for going for mapping, still need to finish bit of dash but do think few good weekends and should be done.
  4. This weekend finally put my SSI FFIM billet inlet, billet fuel rail and 90mm billet throttle body together and got the injectors fitted and attached to engine, was nightmare of job as previously had been told don’t need to remove power steering reservoir but soon found out that to be very wrong, so have ordered Power House Racing power steering relocation kit with phr cooling plate and oil cap, can’t wait for them to turn up and get on with build. Also may have to move fuse box as new throttle body is so tight against fuse box just wish someone done relocation kit for fuse box to get that out way.
  5. Starting getting bits sorted for new fuel system, my Walbro 255 pump turned up last week and today my new billet twin fuel pump hanger turned up Started laying out and building new fuel lines, filter and fuel pressure regulator
  6. Well last few weekends have been quite busy doing few bits and bobs on build, ordered 1000cc FIC injectors from TB Developments got great price from Tim Also been trying to put battery into boot but haven’t had much joy finding place for it so think will have to remove nos bottle and place that where rear seats are
  7. Welcome to the club, very nice supra
  8. You can’t beat an old Bridgeport milling machine, have 3 at work :-)
  9. Will make sure get some good photos of inside the inlet, I forgot to take inside pics of the head after I ported and polished it was to excited just to get it fitted lol. Bet that looks very nice with the 3.5 inch pipework coming of throttle body, I think moving the battery gives the bay such a cleaner nicer look
  10. Yes that why I have to move the battery into boot, I must get some good pictures of new inlet in build thread, since it turned up I opened it checked and it’s been sat in box since lol
  11. It shouldn’t be, I think the fuse box is more in the way as few people have had to rotate throttle body 90 degrees, was hoping by now someone would be doing fuse box relocation plug and play kit.
  12. Made start Sunday on the final jobs on Sophie, I have removed the stock inlet and fuel rail Now while inlet out way have removed starter motor so can connect up to battery in boot and fit new fuel filter, then can fit my billet SSI Billet FFIM and fuel rail and join up to fuel pressure regulator and fit injectors once they turn up. Then have the fun job of going under car again and fitting the braided fuel lines before fitting new fuel
  13. I have to say I like the car enjoyed the show, if we all drove stock cars it would be a very boring club for sure. I think it’s good to have something unique in the club that draws attention, and I like the spoiler on back gives that nice aggressive look.
  14. Your very welcome mate, your supra is totally stunning, and agree I do think the grays make car look really modern. I thinking around 25-75 shot for spool depending on what gear in at time, my mapper going to connect the nos system to the link ecu as before was using separate controller.
  15. Thank you mate, means a lot coming from someone who has an amazing supra like yours. I so can’t wait to have that lovely dump valve noise, been looking at the turbosmart supersonic for mine, think when i 1st hear that noise I will have a massive smile on my face. I have heard few ocdworks turbo spooling and it’s a lovely sound for sure. Yea am keeping the nos set up and will def be using it for spool and top end. Your body work does look amazing it’s the one thing can’t wait to do on mine, been thinking nice lambo grey but also want carbon boot with bgw.
  16. Wow didn’t realise yours was off road for 5years, mines been off road now for just over 3years, she came off road end November 2016. I bet it is the best feeling, I so can’t wait for that moment now
  17. Cheers bud, can’t wait to get her finished now and back out on the road at last
  18. Well another update, didn’t manage to get much done on car Sunday too busy chatting away to neighbour while had her running. But on the plus side did reconnect my heater controls and new matrix working well have heat again and all the switches working fine, only thing that wasn’t working is the lights for the temperature selection dial so think at later will need new heater unit or get mine repaired. Few goodies turned up this week, the 3D printed vent gauge pod from Burna, will add picture tomorrow. Ordered couple new keys from Toyota wanted to get the Pro Spec titanium ones but out of stock, will just keep eye out when they come in stock again Just waiting for boost gauge to arrive then can put rest of dash back together, then next big job will be removing stock inlet and finally fitting my billet SSI ffim, plus need to fit longer throttle cable which have ready and fuel system.
  19. Pleased to hear found issue and now she’s running great again
  20. Thank you mate, she’s not far away now at all. I am planning to do the distributer delete last as like you say not seen distributer spark well over 1.3 bar boost, have seen his kit and it does look like great piece of kit as wouldn’t be able to custom one myself as terrible with wiring. I won’t be able to push much over 500bhp to start with cause still got the W58 at moment but would be nice to have the coil kit in and ready for when change the gearbox.
  21. That looks amazing, very jealous wish the underside of mine looked that good
  22. Am now at stage where have most of dash back in and rear seats back in, have got my battery in boot and am fabricating a battery support at work. Treated the supra to nice shinny hoodlock ready for the shows Been struggling to find new bomex front bumper, so contacted mates bodyshop snd Luckily he can repair my old one so that’s one less problem. I also fitted my AFR gauge into dash and am waiting for boost gauge pod to finally put all dash back Next on the list is this weekend I an going to run car and check heater unit working all fine and and everything works before refit last dash parts. Then will be removing my stock inlet and fitting SSI billet FFIM with billet fuel rail, fit new fuel lines and connect everything up and leaning towards the FIC 1000cc or 1200cc injectors, then have the fun job of doing custom intercooler pipe work as no kits on market that will fit set up. Am aiming to get car in end of April for mapping but still got few jobs to sort including getting the nos all reconnected.
  23. Well haven’t updated this for long time so while at work thought why not. After stripping dash and heater matrix I was able to order both the heater matrix hard pipes from Toyota I stripped down the heater matrix box and cleaned it all,and back together with the new pipes and heater matrix While running the engine noticed noise coming from dizzy so replaced it with brand new Toyota one. I also ordered full new braided fuel lines and filter to flow enough fuel for 1200bhp, plus turbosmart fuel pressure regulator. Over Christmas I ordered Abflug carbon bonnet from knightracer which they delivered the same day for, so got that fitted and also replaced the old bonnet hinges with new Toyota ones
  24. Ah ok reason I asked is cause I use stock n/a head gasket and I went with the ARP studs to prevent movement, it may not be down to head gasket being too thin or weak it could be under that under heavy load the head is lifting every so tiny and that has slowly caused the head gasket to wear and fail, I know a lot of na-t guys running over 400bhp with stock block and head gasket, but using ARP head studs and none of them have had any issues with gasket at all and few of them been like that for over 5years with out single issue. Just thought worth mentioning to try help out bud
