Thank you so much and that means a lot coming from yourself as followed your builds in the early days when first got my supra and thought about going na-t route ever since. Oh yes 100% going to push her further for sure, over winter going to look at gearbox options and push current turbo as far as can go, then look at swapping out to bigger turbo if needs, want to keep her as drivable as possible without turning her into lag monster, don't mind some lag cause do have the Nos system to help. Hopefully will be able to confirm boost settings this weekend as misplaced the T piece to connect up to boost gauge and have forgotten what boost Garth said she was running, was too excited to get her back.

Just reading thread and have to amazing attention to detail, and i believe i have this part sat in box in garage from my build that don't need, am going through boxes this weekend to sell spares so when find part will let you know.

Took my car few weeks ago to be mapped and run in after nearly 6 year build turning my NA into monster NA-T. these are only my run in figures, plan is to enjoy car for few months then fit new gearbox and re-install my Nos and push current turbo until get new manifold and bigger turbo. Target is to run around 800bhp at wheels. I've built this more or less by myself and have really enjoyed doing it, but don't want to do it ever again!! Engine Type - 2JZ GE NA-T Engine Spec - Forged block, CP Pistons 9.0.1, Eagle rods, ACL race bearings, new polished knife edged crank. ARP hardware. Ported and polished head by myself on CNC, BC springs, BC 264 cams, Ferrea Valves and oil seals, HKS adjustable verniers. 1000cc FIC injectors, custom fuel system with billet pump hanger running twin 255 Walbro pumps. SSI Front facing inlet manifold, R35 coil conversion. NX Nitrous wet kit (not connected at moment as want to run engine for few months first). Turbo - Borg Warner S360, 0.88 AR (Whifbitz na-t kit). Fuel Used - Shell V-Power. Exhaust - 3" Veilside exhaust. Transmission - W58(rebuilt & upgraded), Competition flywheel 4.5kg, Whifbitz stage 3+ 6 paddle clutch, ECU - Link G4+ Mapped By - Garth at MGT Motorsports. Dyno Used - Dynapack. Power figure - 507 bhp at wheels. Torque figure - 398 lbft Boost Pressure - cant remember, will double check over weekend.

Thank you, i am super impressed with numbers shes made, just got her home and she is definitely a little monster and puts down the power very well, understand what you mean about EGT's getting hot when got home took it steady and she was nice and hot lol. yes got dyno graph she made 507 at wheels, cant wait to take her pod and see what she can do... -

Oh yes serious numbers for a W58 box, I have had bit of work done on my W58 plus got heavy shot gear oil in. Am hoping it holds up till early next year when get R154 box. The W58 boxes are normally killed by torque and are at limit around 430 ft lb so hopefully me running 400 ft lb I should be pretty safe unless drive her like a complete tool. Yea you read post right shes 500 at the wheels so knocking on 600 door for sure. -

I know exactly what you mean lol. I too have hated the expense but do agree be worth it in end. -

Got car all safe to MGT The orginal plan was for Garth to wire up AFR gauge, new air intake temp sensor, boost solenoid, 3 bar map sensor and wire in the R35 coil conversion, and thats where the fun began the kit was meant to contain pins to connect coils up to Link ECU, but they were missing so had to ring whifbitz and get them sent out which delayed it, then Garth was getting no power at ECU and suspected my ECU was faulty so sent it to Link UK to get checked and tested but all was fine with ECU, so garth moved on to the new Tweak'ed wire loom to try trace issues and found a power cable wasn't crimped properly, plus the TPS sensor was wired up wrong. Garth got all issues sorted and car was finally put on dyno this friday at 1st she made 470bhp at wheels with 360 ft lb torque, and after giving me call i asked him to push her bit more so he took her to 400 ft lb torque and 500bhp at wheels which am happy about as want to protect the W58 gearbox till next year, all left to do now is MOT car and collect her fingers crossed i should have her back this week, cant wait to finally drive my car after all this time. -

Well thought would give little update....Took car to MGT on July 30th and to say its been eventful is understatement lol. I hired a beaver tail car transporter and took us about 2hours to get her loaded on truck cause front bumper so low, ended up using 4 scaffolding planks and few other bits of wood but main thing got her on truck without any damage, car did have screen wash wee as now bottle in boot and winched her up backwards, she was leaking out washer jets over carbon bonnet. -
I got a new unit couple years ago, cant remember where but do have the invoice still, going away tomorrow for weekend but can look through sunday when get back if still havent sorted new one
-
Good point, i may do that once hear back from MGT as having nightmare with Link ECU at moment its not working and has been sent off to be checked, be funny if i organised the show plot then turned up in my mondeo lol
-
I was thinking about that but thread has had 53 views with only you replying, so not sure if much intrest in club for this show lol

I've got a carbon bonnet fitted on car, and as car spent last couple years in garage haven't had to worry, just wondering if anyone knows of any really good products to protect bonnet from fading please? i am aware that can't prevent it as only matter of time before carbon fades and do regret buying it if honest and selling stock bonnet, but now have it want to do what can to keep it in top condition for as long as possible.

First i apologise if this is in wrong section but was wondering if club is doing stand for Jap show finale in October please?

I have def taken my sweet time lol, pandemic, buying house and looking into adoption process has delayed her big time, she's just been sat waiting last two years really, then booked her in for March but then had knee surgery which delayed her another 4months. Same i cant wait to see how the Nos improves the spool, hopefully get her in somewhere quick to relocate fuse box then can refit Nos solenoids as she's going direct port aswell this time. -

Cheers bud. Its def been long journey and few times came close to throwing in towel and selling her, so pleased i didnt!! -
Well as title says my build is finally finished after 6 long hard years, its been a tough journey not going to lie and its something never want to do again if honest!! Ive done 99% of the work myself and she's fully forged, built head the works, everything is new and upgraded, only parts that's arent new is bare block and bare head plus the cam covers, the rest has been replaced with new and upgraded parts. In two weeks i will be taking supra to MGT for mapping and MOT and then can finally drive her again since November 2016 when started build, buying new house and covid have definitely delayed the build but so pleased to be finished. Am aiming for 450-500bhp to start with, then plan is to get fuse box relocated and intercooler pipework tweaked so can refit Nos solenoids and then look at gearbox options...and start pushing power up. few pics of her from other weekend

Am I too late to order a calendar? Completely forgot been so busy
-
Yea true you do what I am like lol lol And yea same here, much happier with current set up now
-
Lol I wouldn’t use 450 shot for spool, I had my nitrous system built before decided to build engine to spec have. Originally I wanted to do nitrous build with throttle body’s. Plan now is use 25-50 to shot spool turbo and then have nitrous shot coming in stages depending on gear and revs.
-
That’s my plan for when she’s at full power, my nitrous system can flow up to 450 shot but doubt would ever go higher then 200 shot
-
I going pre spool nitrous on my build [emoji4]

Thank you for help least that’s help a bit but am still unsure about it all, I never planned to replace hanger but cause has to upgrade fuel system cause of fuel rail, it’s had knock on effect. I only ever planned to run one fuel pump really if could, and only reason picked 255 is cause it doesn’t need 12volt mod and still don’t understand what relay need for job, plus have now got my battery in boot. I not impressed with my billet fuel hanger bud couldn’t find anything in U.K. apart from radium triple hanger and also couldn’t find sensible way to attach an fitting to stock fuel hanger. It’s a minefield of problems trying to do this I swear lol. In some ways wish I never started this build lol
