Thought i would post some pictures of my other more intresting hobby other than the supra. At moment we have 8 snakes, and the biggest Odin is around 12ft and 17kg, the baby snake is also a retic like Odin but is a mainland so should get to 15ft plus. I've been around reptiles since was 11 years old. Currently we have 5 Royal Pythons, 1 Red Tail Boa and 2 Reticulated pythons. The chameleon Loki died earlier this year from old age, but thought would show his picture as he was a stunner, most of the snakes have their own room in house but Odin the big one lives in Viv in living room.

Oh yes 100% am fine after spin out, these are proper built beasts, very easy fix just bumper and headlight really. The hardest part is trying to decide what bumper to go for lol am torn between getting another Bomex or Do luck one at moment, not massive fan of the Ridox without the carbon extras.
-
Oh yes 100% going to get her new tyres abs Geo done, just while she’s up in air will fit few upgrades and check all arms aswell, see if have any play in any of the rubbers
-
Good point, need to find good balance with the handling, with also giving me more feel and grip in the car.
-
The tyres were new just before took car off road 5&1/2 years ago, think they only did 800miles before started build. was meant to put loosen the back end little bit snd stiffen up front to promote bit more under steer. . The joys of playing with the kitten while typing

Very nice really do love the wide look on your build, can't beat wide supra

ATI Dampner, No A/C Aux belt help needed please
Suprakeith replied to Suprakeith's topic in mkiv Technical
This is my thinking aswell, as belt has no signs of wear in at all, plus i got the tensioner from Whifbitz so would say its genuine part aswell. The only other thing i thinking could be is the power steering pump as they don't sell the genuine ones anymore and when compare the shafts and bearing to orginal the bearing on original is so much bigger and alot better fit for pulley on shaft, have also just purchased 2nd hand genuine power steering pump and was thinking to have it refurbed if possible and fit to see if eliminates the issue. -
ATI Dampner, No A/C Aux belt help needed please
Suprakeith replied to Suprakeith's topic in mkiv Technical
Been speaking to Paul at Whifbitz about this issue, and he thinks it may be may tensioner causing the noise, even though its new 4years ago and has only done about 2k miles, going to swap it for mates he's taken off and doesn't need just to test idea, only problem now since accident can't fully test idea until sort front end. -
Slight update since accident, now my pride has slightly recovered it's time to hurt my wallet I've managed to sort facelift lights that collecting next weekend, also going to send my headlights to good supra friend to be repaired and refreshed. Have decided going to treat car to the Whifbitz adjustable anti roll bars to try reduce any understeer and improve her stability, mainly stiffen up rear end, plus treat her to new tyres am thinking Eagle F1s at moment but will decide once rest done on car, am thinking half reason lost grip could be down to the old tyres. Only thing haven't fully decided on is new front bumper style. I've spoken to Knightracer and they still make Bomex bumper which is bonus as do love that style but also like the Do Luck front end, in an ideal world would go for the Ridox but quite few supra's have them these days plus it's nearly 2k for the bumper with the carbon fibre splitter and add on's which is one expensive front end. Oh, also going to try get a Carbon BGW to help keep rear end planted plus love a BGW on a supra.

Thank you, Andrew Very true and least i am ok that's the main thing and the car will be sorted soon and back out ready to enjoy

Wow stunning supra, welcome to the group. love the seats and the front bumper, Is that the Du luck Bumper?
-
So true this could of def been much worse, oh yes just my pride and wallet hurt
-
Will try hunt him down as that would be perfect

The rear of the passenger light is all cracked and broken, and all the bracket parts that hold headlight in location have snapped and broken aswell. will get better photos when go onto garage tomorrow.

After my accident yesterday am after front bumper and headlights please. Would love another Bomex bumper really but if honest any decent bumper would get her looking loads better and back on road. With headlights open to either plastic or glass but would love glass ones as does refresh front end so much. Am in no rush for parts as think cause of damage will have to miss jap show finale and taking car up strip so just going to repair car over winter and get her looking fresh ready for next year.
-
Very nice welcome to the club, them glass headlights really improve look of front end. On another note if you do decide old headlights please consider me as need new headlights after accident yesterday...oops
-
Thats the problem isn't it spend all this money making front look nice and speed bumps just rip splitter to bits.

Well have just removed front bumper this morning and jacked up car to check underneath, apart from grass and mud underneath of car is fine, going to take wheels off and get them checked next weekend, just to be 100% sure. always better to be safe than sorry with wheels. The damage so far is 1. Intercooler passenger side support bracket bent, I can take that to work and bend straight and if cracks can weld it so easy fix. 2. Bumper ruined. New bumper required. 3. Passenger side headlight broken at rear, the plastic connecting bracket ripped off and side tap. So thinking new glass headlights update look as plastic ones were faded. 4. Passenger wing slight damage to bumper locating hole and slightly bent near headlight, think can repair that bend it back and look at idea as where retainer bar bolts in, its its ripped the metal tiny bit. So all in all not much damage at all and just cosmetic and think looking at 1k-2k to get her all fixed and out again. have to say was very nervous as thought was going to be worst but quite pleased with amount of damage. Could of been so much worst, when remove intercooler will double check oil cooler and radiator but they all seem fine and aren't loose at all. Also on plus side both bumper retainers seem fine but will need new middle top fixing plate.
-
Very nice do like the widebody look, Do agree do think stock bumper with lip does look really nice, was thinking the Ridox with carbon splitter but think that will be nightmare with our roads and the splitter is so expensive and bet won't take much to rip it off, so gone off that idea
-
Does seem the bumper has taken most of the impact which is good thing. What bumper you running now? after inspiration for new bumper. No not great at all, last thing needed, got all winter to fix her now really which takes pressure off at least. Ouch not good bet you were quite annoyed at that, these bumpers do sit really low don't they and seem to catch everything...100% agree bloody cars

Very bad luck for sure, that is the main thing least wasn't hurt. Cheers bud, guess it's back to working on her again in the garage lo Possible it happened so quick, do wish someone caught it on dash cam so could watch and try work out what happened. Does make nice change them being helpful for once Its horrible experience isn't it, that's exactly what i was thinking good job didn't hit curb or barrier, so glad had grass verge and car didn't hit any of the trees aswell. Thank you, fingers crossed its just superficial damage, will find out soon going to jet wash her and remove bumper see what's what.
-
Oh yes defiantly could have been a lot worst, the police were really helpful, and they both did says a lovely looking car minus the damage, they closed one lane while checked car and used their tape to hold bumper to car, plus then closed both lanes to let me turn round and get home, can't fault the police at all very helpful indeed. Fingers crossed only bumper damage, that's what's bothering me the most is she's been fine all week going back and from work and its 30miles each way, i thinking must have hit oil or something on road from roadworks as doesn't make sense why she would step out like that with no warning. She's looking very sad and sorry for herself at moment for sure, that's what i hoping it's just the bumper frame that may need few tweaks, think the intercooler holding brackets damaged but i can fix things like that at work. Going to remove bumper tomorrow morning to inspect any damage.

Big time sucks!!! so true it has got very wet and greasy on roads, really annoying thing is i've been using supra all week in wet and rain as daily been in garage getting work done, she was heading towards barrier least managed so prevent that, think if had another foot would off been ok as over corrected little bit and front wheel just caught wet grass which spun me around again then backwards into verge
-
Well this morning didn't go to plan at all...was driving to take Supra to MGT to get rev gauge sorted ready for Santa Pod next weekend. Just came through road works in 4th doing 40mph near Kettering, then accelerated to 50ish went to put her in 5th and back end went, was unable to catch back end fully duo to greasy wet road and ended up spinning backwards into grass verge damaging front bumper, totally gutted but only looks to front bumper so far, intercooler has been pushed back tiny bit and is sitting at slight angle. Checked front framework and looks all fine, luckily police were behind and closed one lane for me and with mate managed to secure front bumper to car with police tape, she's all home now back in garage safe. Going to leave it this weekend as back is sore after impact and strip front end next weekend instead of going Santa pod and hopefully nothing else damaged and look at getting new front bumper asap and just leave her off road until next year now. Main thing is i am ok and car can be repaired.
